“Know when to fold em” has been a huge benefit to my hourly. Folding hands I would’ve called with months ago has increased my win rate. Once a big fold I had is when I had top and bottom pair in a bomb pot when he check jammed 3k in my face

check jams are the worst, it's hard to get a read on them but in my experience, they're usually not bluffs (depending on your bet size)

I've had many big folds. 1st one that comes to mind, I folded K 10 on a KK2 with 2 heart board. I led out small 1st to act in a 3 person pot, all in and another all in. I folded face up in disgust. KQ and ace high flush draw. Turn was a Q, and it was a big enough fold to get respect from the table that I played off of and took 1st place in the tournament of 50 people

I made a big fold last night in a 1/2 game 3 guys were all in for all in for 250 it's was on me, I had jack 9 off suit in my hand the board flopped 8 10 jack with 2 daimonds I had a diamond in my hand but I had a feeling it wasn't right, I folded, the guy to my left had A K of diamonds, everyone flipped, the turn comes out a diamond and he drew everyone dead before the river never been so happy I folded in my life. Making good reads and knowing when to low em down is huge to develop you as a poker player. I was playing a small local tournament and made a big fold when I laid down QQ against AA and saved my tournament life because the hand ended up getting ran out and aces hit a set on the flop. Knowing when to fold em is so fuxking important in this game. If I had to scrutinize my own game I’d say that’s prob where I need some more experience and help. Countless times having kings or aces and after the flop I feel like I should fold but never want to let ‘em go lol. Between you and rampage I’ve learned most of my poker techniques watching your videos and I hope to meet either of u someday and test my luck on the felt against legends in the game !! I can only pray that One day MY NAME will flow through the mouths of all these poker gurus just gotta believe!!! GOD DID 😂

My favorite big fold I made recently was deuce king nine deuce deuce board. I had a king in my hand and the guy at the table had a lot of table talk shoved all in covering me. I put him on the 9 and wanted to call, but made the big fold. I was right though he had the 9…. And the deuce. Always fun watching Wolfgang thanks for all the advice!!

Thx again for the Wolfmas days of Christmas. One of my big folds was with pocket queens preflop. I put in a 3bet and two other opponents ripped it all in. Now at that point it became an easy fold. My opponents kings and the other aces.

one weekend at our home game, I had the worst luck I've ever had with consistent bad hands and terrible coolers. I finally made a hand with aces up, but a straight came on the river. My buddy who very rarely ever bluffs bet a pot size bet. I was stuck thinking what to do for a few minutes, but ended up making a big fold. He said he maid the straight and I believe him

Ohhh man! A big fold I think of often was about a year ago. I had ace of diamonds and 3 of spades in the big blind and it limped back to me with 4 others in the hand. The flop came out 3 4 10 all diamonds. I raise 25 and got one caller. Turn is ace of spades which gives me two pair. I raise 60 and he snap calls. River was king of either clubs or spades can’t remember which one exactly. But sitting with top and bottom pairs but the board super connected I raise super small like 50 or 60 just to see what the other guy does. He tanks for about 30 or 40 seconds and doesn’t look nervous or “in pain” at all. Kinda shoots me a half ass grin and shoves all in which covers me and I have about 700 behind. Man I tank for a good 3 minutes just trying to get a read. I finally fold and he was nice enough to show me king 5 of diamonds. Felt pretty good after that hand.

Hey Wolfgang Santa! One of my big folds. I was heads up in a tournament. Flopped a straight the turn put 4 to a straight out there. I ended up folding to the all in and they had turned the nuts.

Made a big fold last time I played in Vegas. Hard fold tho. I look down at KK flop comes A72 and guy goes all in. I just knew KK no good so I folded. Love the content bud thanks for posting. The big fold that comes to mind was letting pocket Aces go when another player turned a set. Just had a sense he was playing loose with a pocket pair and in my head it was the river card. He showed the set so I didn’t have to wait long to feel good.

I folded the ace-high nut flush during a game with some friends. It was a painful fold to make, but there was a full house staring at me on the table. When he bet into me all-in, I contemplated for about a minute, talking out my thoughts and running through the hand - street by street... Then, I folded face up. He flipped his cards over, revealing the full house in order to put my mind at ease. He's a friend of mine, so he didn't mind helping me show off a strong fold! The table all congratulated me for the fold. I felt more like a better player making the fold as opposed to hitting a strong hand and getting value from it.

Playing 5-5 at The Bike in L.A. I opened with QQ. Next player jammed all-in, next player jammed all-in and the last player also jammed all-in. I was like "WTF"? After tanking I made a BIG FOLD. It was AA vs KK vs AK, I was like "Good Fold", until I saw the flop QTT. Runout came clean and I would've quadrupled up!!

I made a Big Fold once when there was a straight flush draw on the board, only needing ten hearts to have the straight flush or ten for a straight. So I folded my ace high 2 pair and he flipped his cards and had the straight flush. Merry Wolfmas

My BIG FOLD a few weeks ago. I had K7dd. Flop 2d 2h 5d. Turn Jd and river was 6d. He c/r me all-in on the river. I had King high flush, so I folded on this paired board. He showed JJ for a full-house on the turn. It was not that much to call on the river. The pot was $1000 and it was only $150 more for me to call. I saved $150.

Talk about a big fold. It wasn't mine but the guy to my left. It was a 2-5 game, and the table was full. This guy was 7th to act. Preflop he folded aces, which he showed me. When it came to him, there were 3 raises 20, 50 & 109 all-in. Good Fold! Would have lost, 1 had 2 pair & the other trips.

I made a huge fold at the Wynn about a month ago. I folded A 10 on a A A 5 2 8 board. Folded my A face up on the table and the dude was super impressed and told me I was really smart considering he had a full house with pocket 55. Always feels good to make a good fold, maybe even better than winning a pot sometimes

I made a big fold of top set one time at TGT. I had pocket tens, flop comes out 10 9 8 with two hearts. Little blind goes all-in for $250 into an $80 pot, big blind goes all-in for $275, and I go into the tank. I played for 6 hours already and fought my way back up to $40 positive. I just put only $20 into this pot, and I'm a winner on the session, so I fold. One guy had King Jack off for open ended straight draw, and the other guy had Ace 7 for an open ended straight draw. The run out was brick, and then an 8, so I would have boated up, but those cards didn't exist to me, because I had already left as a winner on the day! Yeah, they play like that at TGT.

Sometimes a Big Fold can make or break a session. Folding in tough spots can be positive EV for the most part in my opinion and can give a read on an opponent based on how they act while you’re in the tank and one you release your cards. I made a big fold recently where I flopped the bottom end of the wheel with A2 on a dry board where 67 was the nuts. Villain checked raised turn and opened jammed river felt like the nuts. He was nice enough to lmk after it was a good fold

Literally made a big fold last night at Parx. Raise up AJ off in the small blind to $12 in a 1/3 game. Flops comes AK8 rainbow. Bet $20 into 4 people. Only the cutoff calls. Turn comes a 3 I bet $35. Get raised to $100. Wanted to call or jam pretty bad. Tanked a bit. Then made a big fold that ended up being a great laydown against a set of 8s

I made a big fold about a week ago when I had bottom full house. I raised the initial river bet and got re raised all in and made a discipline fold. He ended up showing the nuts when i reluctantly folded my cards face up.

A big fold that i can remember was me having poket aces and folding with 3-4 hundred bucks in the pot. My opponent went all in and I just knew I had the hand lost. I dont remember the details exactly but i believe he had showed me a straight. It was a good fold on my part but it always sucks to loose with pocket aces.

My experience verifies when playing poker the ability to make the big fold in key moments is just as important as the hero call. Sometimes you have to cut your losses. Even if they are silly enough to show that they bluffed you, knowing that I played right is what builds confidence.

BIG FOLD - So I was at TCH Dallas playing a 1-3 with $400 in front of me. I raise UTG with suited AJ and get two callers. The Button was playing very straightforward and not getting out of line at all. The J54 rainbow. I c-bet on the flop and they both called. The turn now pairs the 5 and I check over to late position and he fires for about a 1/2 pot bet. The button then thinks and now jams. So I fold and then the LP tank folds. I told the button I knew what his hand was and he said what? I said he was holding the 54 of spades. It was the only combination available as I said he was not getting out of line. He tables his hand in AWE and asks how I knew. I told him it was a trade secret. Cant wait to take your money in Houston :)

Last big fold that I can recall was when I flopped a set of Queens. Raised preflop high jack and I was 4 bet by small blind. for came A,Q,7. He shoved and I knew he had aces. Folded face up and he showed the aces. I don't know why but I knew.

Last week I was playing at a home game and almost made the wrong big fold. My friend who always plays extremely tight bets 10bb out of position and I raise him to 30bb. He shoves all in and I have Cowboys. We always play the 7/2 game but that thought never crossed my mind just that he had Aces. I make the call and sure enough I caught him with his hand in the cookie jar. Good session as I was the only winner for the night.

I watched someone made a big fold of his qk ss on a flush draw board in a 3 way all in pot. He obviously got a great equity to draw but he said he was afraid of the ace high flush draw and people having set which will make some of his outs dirty. But still it is only 150 bb deep. Finally he hit the flush but he laid it down and there wasn’t ace high flush/board pairing cards.

Late stage of a tournament...UTG raises, MP 3bets, I'm on the button with QQ, I 4-bet, UTG shoves for 50% of my stack, MP calls for less. I fold. Was this a BIG FOLD? I don't know...but showdown was AA vs. KK, and I go on to take 3rd in the tournament!

New years Eve 2022 I made a big fold against a friend of mine. I flopped bottom set on a dry board. Action went bet from my friend in the small blind raise from the high jack. I call, and my buddy rips it all in. High jack folds, and after about 2 minutes of thinking, I make a massive fold. Told me later he had middle set.

Was playing at a wild and crazy 3/5 table. Raised 40$ preflop with 5 callers. Pretty dry flop came and the action went bet, raise, reraise, snap all in. I did a huge tank big fold. Action resumed all in from every other player. Assumed I made a great fold with 4 all ins, but turns out I would have scooped the whole pot! Bad big fold, true story.

The biggest preflop fold ever was poket Aces by The Canon. That's a big fold

Had to make a big fold the other day with pocket aces. Raised preflop, bet the flop and turn, but the river brought in both the straight and flush! Aces hit the muck when facing a big bet.
