The Slowpitch Bat Bros swing our favorite Easton to-date: the short-barrel Steele Lewis Signature FireFlex.
-Felt true to a 26 full-ounce endload
-Composite barrel, composite handle
-Failed compression VERY fast. Definitely more of a bat for guys who don't have to deal with compression testing.
-Gentle feedback and decent flex in the handle - but not too much - felt stiffer than the Resmondo and Comic Series bats we swung.
-Great sweet spot
-Durability held up well
-Hits absolute rockets - one of the hottest USSSA bats we've ever swung
-Pretty mild sound
-Felt a lot like the Orange Mach 1

2020 Blueline is a 12.5" 1oz endload and the entire barrel is sweetspot. You should try it.

In all honesty compression testing never happens at even the huge tournaments here in the Midwest. But I'm begging you to find someone to let you borrow an OG redline fireflex. That bat is 🐐🐐🐐

i was accused of using a senior bat when i used this in a game/tourney....nobody swings the adidas ruckus 12 and i have 3 because they are soooooo good and tanks too, they don't break and tons of pop in them...need 200 swings to get them going but wham after that...that's not to say they are duds out of the wrapper but they kick into a 3rd and 4th gear and wow

@@WhoDeyYT the younger guys don't use them in Syracuse because they never heard of Adidas senior bats and how great they were...the Ruckus12 is the exact same specs as the senior model and it was an easy lateral move to go from u-trip bats to seniors tourneys and back again...in fact i use the Ruckus for my BP in age 50+ tourneys so i don't break my senior bats...i easily have 1500 swings on my gamer Ruckus and another 1000 on my back ups

my Mach 1 orange is really coming alive....like big time and I have about 100 swings on it...reminds me of the 2nd generation DC-41 black with orange letters...the 1 ounce endload scared me but i got a 25 and it swings perfectly

Can you explain what the compression means? Not literally lol, I just mean what are you looking for and how does it influence the bats performance. Thanks, love your videos!

Put simply, when they measure compression on the tester, they are seeing how much pressure it takes to compress the barrel a certain distance. A new, or stiffer bat will require more compression and the value will be higher....sometimes significantly so. A well broken in bat may test at around or below the cut off mark of 220. The reason he looks at compression is for a few reasons: one is obviously performance based; how well does a bat perform at a given compression level. He is also looking at how quickly the compression drops. While a bat getting "hotter" faster may seem like a good thing, a bat that falls below 220 after 50 bp swings and fails testing at your next tourney means it stays in your bag.

Disregard my comment lol. Saw the full ounce endload now. From the Eastons I have the autism is easily the best. Gold goat only has about 30 swings on it with hot dots so jury is still out on it. Bam is meh. Finally got my AP genesis can't wait to swing it

Agreed. And they are durable. I have one I can rarely use. It tests at ~200 now and absolutely hits showtime bombs.

@@mikehendrickson85 the specs are different. 2019 version is 12.75in barrel and is listed as loaded, not the mother load featured in the model on video...surprisingly hasn’t gotten much hype with the same specs as the Ressys everyone raves about

Bubba club is better then Steele but all the Eastons this year are cracking under the connection points prematurely

This comment is very true. The bubba club is a better bat (better feed back, better feel, higher exit velos). Also true about the premature cracking at the connection point. Up here in Canada we hit marshmallows for balls and these still break at the connection. Use both the Steele and bubba both have the same issues.

I'm subscribed to your channel and like your videos, but trying to hit the ball into the street as cars are driving on it is not at all smart and could end up with someone being injured or killed. Maybe find a bigger field to test the bats rather than put people's lives and safety at risk?

it was mostly theatrics - I've BP'd here about 100 times and have never hit the road so I didn't really actually believe it would happen. That's a pretty low-traffic frontage road anyways - but I hear ya.
