The Slowpitch Bat Bros bring out two of the most popular 2021 bats from Louisville Slugger for a good 'ol fashioned 1-piece vs. 2-piece showdown. Today we have the Andy Purcell Signature Genesis (APG) vs the Z2000 Reload Endload.
Folks have been waiting for this showdown, thanks a ton for being the dudes to do it, Will. I’m tagging a pal now, he was asking this very question 2 days ago
I have the APG been gaming it twice a week for a month now and its awesome... I think I hit into one fielders choice and my only other outs with the bat have been 2 HR outs. Besides how hot the bat is I would say I am most impressed with how miss hits lower on the barrel close to the handle still have enough pop to get into the outfield for a hit.
Had a teammate break his Z2000 in half this weekend, 4 months old probably 300 swings on it, but still a great bat. I have an APG and it is fire, just don’t use them in the cold.
The Slowpitch Bat Bros: I'm curious ... Does the Genesis benefit guys with the much faster bat speed (like you guys). It's stiffer than the Z2000. I'm wondering if it is like golf clubs.
Gentlemen, a question. The Black APG and the Black, Silver and Gold also 1 Piece Genesis. Are they the same specs with different paintjob? They are both 220 stamp.
Would love to see how much further some of these bigger guys would hit balls if they stayed in their swings and didn't spin like a top after contact. Either way still super impressive!
I have it in a 27 and would probably be ok with a 28... but I also am used to swinging heavier bat I have a 28.5 Z4000 that I swing sometimes so I guess it just depends what you are comfortable with.
Can you test the new 2022 genesis (2 piece) vs the 2022 Z2000 (2 piece)! Looks like all the new 2022 genesis are 2 piece so really... Wtf is the difference!
How do you and jorge masvidal find all the balls you hit over the fence lol you guys need your fans on the other side with gloves trying to catch the home runs
