A few people have been asking about the beautiful top Sophie is wearing & if it’s a pattern of hers. In answer to your question: - yes it is one of her own designs - it’s as yet unpublished - Sophie will be issuing a tester call soon so keep an eye on her Instagram page

What a lovely episode, I have been doing a PhD as well, so I do relate to the fact that you have to learn quickly (I did a scientific one so I could not knit at work, not really a good combination with a lab ;-) ) love the chat and love both of your accounts

The Knit Purl Girl would not be alone in not needing a measuring tape, Chevyrell from Chevyrell's Stuff has a 1 inch tattoo on the inside of one of her fingers so she is never without one! It was a great a mix up to have the Natter! I enjoyed it and I think its a great once in a while mix in.

@@HiveKnitsNatters I'll admit I don't have one, but I am super tempted to measure my thumb now just so I DO. That wouldn't be weird at all, right? The chats are a great way to break things up and also give a bit of a break to yourself as a podcaster. Keep that dreaded "must have a new FO every episode" thought at bay. I am like Sophie, I am lucky that I have the time at home to be able to knit a lot that doesn't seem to be an issue for me, but I definitely felt that way on the first episode or two of my own and it's not a good feeling.
I really enjoyed this episode! For me as a non-native speaker it was sometimes a little bit hard to understand the exact words because of the "non-formal" interview style, but I loved the whole atmosphere and the giggles and I think I got the message 😊 so please keep doing this (besides your regular episodes of course, I'm burning to see your current projects!) 💕💕💕
Hi Kathi - so glad you enjoyed it! yes sorry perhaps we spoke a little fast at times, but like you say I think that was part of how relaxed it was. do the subtitles help at all? I know they are a bit useless sometimes
