Thank you for taking the time to point out the speaker recesses. Last time I bought a helmet from HJC...I didn't even think about those. I still got it done, but it would have been far easier with them.
@@rbptheprettiest Not necessarily. Cardo's Freecom series all come with a 3M mount as well as the clip, but both can be installed without interfering with the internal visor slide systems (and vice versa). They even mark on the edge of the helmet where you can install the clip style mount so it doesn't interfere
Hi there, Thank You for the review. I got the redbull speilberg finish helmet for $145 shipped. Since I saved some money on it, I want to waste it on some face Shields. Here is a video request. Can you guys install all the different colors of face Shields provided for each model? Few mins time to make lots of RU-vid views and bucks in return? Please show them in different lighting conditions like outdoor and indoor etc? Try to show it on two colors probably black or white helmet.

As someone who has used the RPHA 11 model, I must say that the air ventilation works well. But in the winter it gets a little too cold for me. How’s the winter performance of F70 in the cold days?
I can listen to his voice all day, hahaha I watched the rpha 10/11 review and it says i need to pick size larger, is this the same as those helmet? Tia!
The F70 fits true to size compared to the size chart. And if you think Brandon's regular voice is nice, you should hear him sing! If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our Gear Geeks at cs@revzilla.com or 877.792.9455. Ride safe, -Pat
Incredible, I was just looking into this yesterday as compared to their I70 model. How would you say they compare (other than the obvious material), worth the extra buck?
Both helmets are very similar, but we do like that the F70 has the fiberglass shell over the polycarb option for the i70. Both are solid options though. If you have any other questions or concerns, please reach out to our Gear Geeks at cs@revzilla.com or 877.792.9455. Ride safe, -Pat
Only slightly quieter, but your best bet is to wear earplugs while riding. That's a $3 fix to all wind noise regardless of helmet you choose. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our Gear Geeks at cs@revzilla.com or 877.792.9455. Ride safe, -Pat
I see it's designed for the HJC system, what's the size and depth of those speaker cups? Could you verify if the JBL speakers that are offered as an upgrade for the Cardo system would fit without issue or would they protrude out? That seems to be the issue with most helmets, the mounting depth isn't enough without causing pain on the ears once the helmet is on.
I've fitted out the I10, F70 and I90 (all of HJC's Smart HJC adaptable helmets) and have not noticed the speakers protruding, even when trying on a smaller helmet than what I normally wear. You shouldn't have these issues.
Isn't the internal sun visor control positioned where a lot of communications systems would be mounted? I personally prefer the mechanism to be locate "behind the ear" on the left side.
It appears to me the visor mechanism is actually in front of where a communicator would go. Considering it is designed to accept them, I suspect it is fine.
Hello. Is it as tight as they say? I have a head circumference of 58.5 cm, it is in a helmet size between M and L. I have always bought M, but in this helmet they say that it fits too much. What do you recommend me?
We'd go with the MD. It'll be tight out of the box (as all helmets are) but once it breaks in should be the right fit. Last thing you want is a loose helmet that might not protect you in a crash.
I wear glasses and with a pinlock never have trouble with a visor fogging, but if its wet, my glasses are a dead cert. Will that rubber insert stop my glasses fogging?
According to HJC, the F70 carbon is only DOT approved. Not ECE! The fiberglass looks to be both DOT and ECE approved...go figure. Pretty disappointing. Revzilla- you might want to clarify.
100% correct - our product pages for the F70 and F70 Carbon reflect this information. HJC was still on the fence about certifications for the Carbon when this standard F70 launched. We had already shot/launched this video at the time so weren't able to change it or edit it unfortunately. But the information on our product pages / product description-listings is current and up to date.
Was anyone able to install the Cardo Packtalk Slim communicator on the HJC F70 helmet ? What about this special Sena compartment at the rear of the helmet, can Cardo somehow fit over/in it? Does the internal sun-visor mechanism gets in way of the Cardo controller clips? The helmet is not listed on the Cardo site under helmets comparability, but I wonder if anyone in the real world did it...

Both are great options and it will come down to your choice really. Both have extremely similar features and price point will likely play a heavy factor in most rider's decision between the two. I lost that chin curtain extension on the freeway and can't find a replacement - even the "f70 chin curtain" that is sold on your site and everywhere else is a different design. Any ideas where I can find that original?
The only one that we are aware of is the direct replacement that HJC offers that I'll link below. If you are looking to locate something different though, contact HJC directly for a part number might be the best option. www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/hjc-f70-chin-curtain?sku_id=1817893
Really disappointed that HJC decided to omit the quick release visor option on this lid. Not a deal breaker, but to have it on nearly every other helmet but this one is just a bit odd. But anyway...most reviews I've read tout this as being a pretty quiet helmet, but Champion Helmets review showed it as being quite loud. Any clarification on that...anyone? Another review from Sport Bike Track says the fit is a bit more on the oval side than intermediate oval. Any clarification on that also?
Fits Intermediate oval in our opinion. And wind noise is subjective based on a hundred different factors even things like your arm length, angle of your head, and features on your bike that can be pushing wind towards the helmet. So many factors that helmet manufacturers rarely aim to tackle wind noise as a major factor anymore. The easiest fix is a box of $5 ear plugs from your local pharmacy to save your ears and eliminate wind noise without hindering your ability to ride. It is in the works but given COVID and that our studio/headquarters has been on a work-from-home order for the past few months, it might take us longer than usual. I measure exactly 23 inches which puts me exactly 0.2 inches larger than medium and 0.2 inches smaller than large. Should I size up or size down? I have a very slender face but kinda poofy hair and I wear glasses. Help !
Does RevZilla sell the pinlock insert that works with this visor? Because all of the ones I looked at on the website didn't have the f70 listed on the compatibility list.
We will have it listed soon, since this is a new face shield from HJC we are just waiting on the Pinlock Lens to be available. If you have any other questions or concerns, please reach out to our Gear Geeks at cs@revzilla.com or 877.792.9455. Ride safe, -Pat

Yes, this will work with prescription glasses. Anything larger like sunglasses might cause some pinching or tension on the temples/side of head. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our Gear Geeks at 877.792.9455 or CS@revzilla.com. Ride safe, -Pat
That's a subjective question. It really depends on what you're trying to compare. The Air Flite is a long oval style helmet while the F70 caters more towards the intermediate oval head shape, so as far as fitment is concerned, it really depends on your own head shape. I will say that the Air Flite, imo as I own the 2018 Good Fortune graphic, is a louder helmet when it comes to wind noise. Also, the F70 is easier to get on and off while the Air Flite has that more gauntlet style shape to it, making it a little more difficult to put on and take off. Both helmets have their pros and cons, and tbh the only way for you to really get an answer is to go out to your local dealer and fit out for those helmets.
Thanks bro now I have to remember this video for when I can ride a motorcycle, I’m 14 but motorcycles is all I want to do, so I’m already planning out a gear list

This is a true intermediate oval shape. If you are comfortable in the Signet Q I would suggest something like the Airflite or Stream for a long option with an internal visor: www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/icon-airflite-helmet www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/ls2-stream-helmet-solid -Zack
