I have an authentic 416 I built over the past 2 decades; all true, OEM, HK parts. So I totally understand how this was labor of love. Though this won't reach the views of a lot of firearm videos on here, every person who sees this video understands what I took to achieve this. It's incredible. This is the first 417 I've seen on this platform.
God dude you guys make me have penis envy. As a very respectable 6” man, I’ve never had penis envy before. You guys are giving it to me really bad and it sucks.
Gorgeous. Congrats on completing the build! It’s funny, I recently sold my Scar 17 (for a lot more than I paid for it) thinking I was done with proprietary magazines and parts in general. Then I stumble across your 417 videos and now I’m pining for a rifle with proprietary parts and magazines haha.
Remarkable build in great video thank you so much for posting. You are truly living the dream brother. That is one hellva shooting iron! You also have the quiet satisfaction that you built it.
I just want to say i appreciate that you keep the content going. I think you single handedly gave me the cloning bug. Not sure whether to thank you or hate you hahaha
I’m working on a 15.1 NSW Reece. I have the Kac hand guard, barrel, and AE brake/collar and can. Still need a stripped upper, gas block. Also grabbed an Atacr 1-8 over the X24. Should I use NF rings? Or just get a Bager C1 mount since the optic already isn’t kosher?
Do you know much service these saw within JSOC as a dedicated carbine? There are a few photos out there of what looks like a delta guy running a 417 assaulter and an eotech, but otherwise it seems like most of the 417s were used as DMRs.
