Remarkable build in great video thank you so much for posting. You are truly living the dream brother. That is one hellva shooting iron! You also have the quiet satisfaction that you built it.
I just want to say i appreciate that you keep the content going. I think you single handedly gave me the cloning bug. Not sure whether to thank you or hate you hahaha
@@sanguinor5609 Sig sells at least 10 different stocks for the MCX platform. If they included one, people would complain that it’s the wrong one. Also, they included a folding buffer tube adapter with the rattler conversion kit. The idea with this being that you can use your AR’s stock/buffer assembly if you don’t want to buy one of Sigs other stocks.
Gorgeous. Congrats on completing the build! It’s funny, I recently sold my Scar 17 (for a lot more than I paid for it) thinking I was done with proprietary magazines and parts in general. Then I stumble across your 417 videos and now I’m pining for a rifle with proprietary parts and magazines haha.
I have an authentic 416 I built over the past 2 decades; all true, OEM, HK parts. So I totally understand how this was labor of love. Though this won't reach the views of a lot of firearm videos on here, every person who sees this video understands what I took to achieve this. It's incredible. This is the first 417 I've seen on this platform.
Do you know much service these saw within JSOC as a dedicated carbine? There are a few photos out there of what looks like a delta guy running a 417 assaulter and an eotech, but otherwise it seems like most of the 417s were used as DMRs.
How are issued guns clone guns? I have several historical military issued guns but didn’t submit them because they aren’t clones. Are we doing collectors guns or clone guns? You could probably fill up videos of each.
Super random but I need help finding a laser for a clone I want to build. In the movie Air Force One, the M4 Carbines can be seen with CMore red dots and a laser mounted to the A2 front sight post. Pictures can be found on IMFDB for reference
I am doing a MK 13 Mod 7 build right now, along with an M40a6. They're not necessarily the best rifles but I am satisfied they will be good and will be worth the cost of the parts, scopes, and the labor for the build.
Bro! You are the man. I really appreciate your attention to detail. Just outta curiosity why didn't you go with he fde-ish color? I got a friend who's been to Afghanistan and he's got a REAL 417 lower that he came home with. Highly illegal, yes. I also used to have illegal machine guns. 27 months in the United States Penitentiary of Beaumont Texas aka fed time, turned me to a law abiding citizen.
@InferiorRifles yeah I was young when I got caught up. I had an Egyptian undefolding AK and it was put away for zombie apocalypse, but I showed a "friend" and he had minor legal issues and decided to give me up. Oh well. I also had an uncle who was in Vietnam, he found a Chinese type 56 in the jungle and mailed it home piece by piece. He only recently got rid of it it. Is there a reason you didn't go with that tan color? I just associate that with the 416-417 a lot. I'm sure you did your homework... just curious
I just find m27 quite funny. 16in heavy profile barrel, paired with heavy nt4, but wait thats too light for the corps. Lets add a heavy vcog on it. Sprinkle some peq and light on it, and you get yourself a gun that’s really capable but also extremely heavy. Pretty much every infantry double duty as dmr and saw
