Bruh. That's a single-seater car. How can you compare a Super Formula car to a track car in production type chassis? Downforce, weight, and power are totally not the same. Although I'm still pissed that they chose to use full racing slicks instead of semi-slicks like everyone else doing the record. This does mean that if we wanna level the playing field, then this HKS must compete with other full-slick machines too, or it just won't be a fair comparison.

GoodWillRacing Under Suzuki was the previous record holder and did not use slicks. Don’t get me wrong, this lap was still very impressive. I am glad the FA is getting love too!

Nerbert Then he still holds the record on a particular tire then ya? I for one, am happy to see tuning companies like HKS using slick tires now for Time Attack. I sure hope HKS decides to bring this beast to the United States and run Buttonwillow Raceway. They are allowed to run slicks now 😬
