It's my childhood dream car. Even today. If I see a Contessa, I'll stop, check the car and then proceed. It's that close. Only of my uncle had this Contessa. Even today, if I see a Contessa parked in any shead or in any guarage, I'll definitely pause and look at the car. In Bangalore I can see many Contessa with original shape. I especially like the tyre and rims of the stock one. It looks the same as Gypsi.

Loved this car bro, Real Muscle Car Made By Hindustan Motors, collaborating with Isuzu Engine with features loaded in the 1980s, Bucket Seats, Floor shift, Power Steering, and AC - comfort was Next level, I Happened to travel from Madras to Kanyakumari in 1989(I was 11 Years Old) but still cherish the driving comfort it gave, it was still just a 2 lane road from madras - Kanyakumari. The way my uncle drove made me to love the car till now. Spec - 1.8GL model with 88bhp as far I read in Autocar magazine(I used to buy the magazine to know the price and spec of cars/bikes they publish on the last page and the Poster give(cost is 20RS or 15 RS not sure I remember in the 90s). Still, remember reading an article in Autocar about DC(Dilip Chhabria) Design, they chopped Contessa car and made it a limousine model and also a tempo traveler modified as a caravan which is just mind-blowing in the 90s period. You made my day by reviewing this car which I was waiting for a very long time 👍👌👏☺

Reminded of a trip for about 40 kms in my uncle’s car sometime when I was around 10 yrs old. I was sitting in back seat. Even after 30 yrs, I can still remember the smoothness and comfort it was. I own two contessa cars now. One 1.8l petrol and one 2.0l diesel. I have driven many latest cars, but contessa is a league of it's own. No car give you the experience that the contessa gives. Kudos to MotoWagen for this video. Wonderful presentation.

one of the noooo only best car i have seen till now. Has the best comfort. My grandfather is the first person to purchase in madurai. He maintained for more than 10 years. I have other cars but still saving money to get contessa. Am talking with a person for 12years to sell his contessa to me. But the deal is pending.😟🥺 Hope i will achieve my dream to get this car. More emotions when i see this car and will get stuck when i see this on road. Love never ends for contessa. Today cars doesnt have this luxury.
