I asked people “what is your favorite part of the Hmoob new year?” thank you to everyone who agreed to be part of this video! Ya’ll were so nice!
It felt good to meet old friends and talk to new people from my city. Most of us didn't speak in Hmoob even tho it is the HMOOB new year...but it 's probably because I spoke to everyone in English in first. haha. I will try saying it in Hmoob next time.

Honestly I don't really like the hmong new year. It's chaotic and confusing. But then agian all the beautiful things, people, setups of the stores, and the entertainments are interesting to observe and analyze. Just to see and study the interactions and display of characters and abilities of the people I say would be what I find to be interesting.

My favorite part is when people perform their aweosme dances and I live in Minnesota so my new year is in thanksgiving weekend

ooo true! I never know which ones are popular or good though. Do you find out thru facebook? I high key love hearing the language. Just sometimes have a hard time speaking it haha
