You know, there's confidence, there's overconfidence, then there's sheer audacity, and finally, there are these scammers. If only God blessed me with that level of self-assurance, I'd probably be in a whole different scenario-most likely behind bars or something. So, thanks but no thanks, I'll pass and I'm good! P.S. Hey, scammers, if any of you happen to be tuning in, feel free to give me a ring. I may not have a dime to spare, but I can surely entertain you and make you ponder upon some life choices. Peace out!
What i dont understand is if they are gonna give English names why do they not make any effort to disguise the indian accent to sound more English or American 😂😂😂😂
Hi MampsUk, You make a really good point! These days, countries like the UK and USA do more than just employ people in India - many of their operations, like IT and finance, are fully based there. For example, I work as an anti-financial crime analyst for a big company, and a lot of our departments are actually in India. So, in reality, they could easily use Indian names when interacting with customers. But scammers often use Western names and accents to seem more convincing, probably because they think it builds trust. It’s not so much that governments don’t send officers to India. It's mad to say, how scammers seem to always find new ways to target people. It's possible they got my number through various means, such as data breaches or purchasing lists from other scammers. Unfortunately, these scams have been around for a long time, constantly evolving to exploit unsuspecting individuals. Remaining vigilant and staying informed about their tactics is crucial in protecting ourselves and others from falling victim to their schemes.
Scammer trade lists of numbers that work. They may not even know your name which is why I always carry a fake profile in my wallet that I can pull out if I suspect that it is a scam call and give them a false name. 9 times out of 10 they will not know my real name and are happy to record all my false info thinking that they can sell it on to another scammer to ring me up with another scam. Just Google: Fake Name Generator & have fun talking to any scammers. It even has fake bank account and card numbers so you can reluctantly hand over this information & laugh when they try robbing your fake account and waste an hour or more of their time doing it.
@@TravelwithDURRAANi I had these call from them they pretend to work at pc world that was last Monday, I sworn at them and said to them benchod, uses this word next time when you receive scam calls like that .
People, all communication happens via letters. Not over the phone. Never trust anyone who calls you. Anyone can fake a Caller ID, and ask you to verify your information (which infact they're only collecting -- don't give them the info).
As u said when u hear an indian accent and an English name its a straight give away that its a scam. I used to get loads of calls abt a car accident when they told me his name is Stephen i said u sound indian and he made an excuse saying hea unwell and when a woman said her name was kate i said the same the think and her reply was what can i do. Also regarding those numbers showing up on ur caller Id as HMRC its called call spoofing. So where u from
Thank you for your feedback, comment, and subscription. You’ve made an excellent point MampsUK, scammers often prey on the vulnerable rather than the more discerning. That said, I believe videos like this can play an important role in raising awareness and helping people avoid falling victim to scams. As someone who travels frequently and highlights various scams, my goal is to help others learn from these experiences. Although I’m based in London, my roots are originally in Sri Lanka.
