I saw this the day it came out. I had already been following his career from Soundcloud. Truly miss his music for listening series. Some of his best work IMO. Whatever happened to those days.

The best intro to a boiler room ever, took me a while to appreciate he was playing 3 tracks at once! They go together so nice, i wish it came as a bonus mix on the four-tet record!
I must have discovered HNNY's - No in 2015, and since then there is no other song that I have been listening to more often. As it is almost always the case, at one point we get tired of certain songs. Not with this one here. In all seriousness, this version elevates TLC's masterpiece beyond our stratosphere onto another planet. The slow build up...,the organ in the background..., even today I am struggling to find words to depict the feelings it evokes. Guess that must be THE quality seal to realize no words will do it justice. Just listen! If someone asked me about the soundtrack of my life, this is it, hands down. No matter where I am, how I feel, who I am with, it always amazes me how it makes me appreciate the very moment I am listening to it. It's like 7 minutes of therapy. There is literally nothing better than this creation by Johan. Hope you are doing well, brother. Even though I do not know you personally, there is a huge bond between us. Much love from Germany!
***** haha mate the thing is that at some point it applies to anyone :) tlc were a good thing but what hnny did with the song is out of this world, getting the vinyl finaly this week
I think someone was saying how I made up that I knew the track, but I first heard it years before I listened to this Boiler Room set. A bit weird how someone would try and suggest that I would go to the effort to look up the set list and then pretend that I knew the song, when it so happens that I already knew it years ago.
9:40 'HNNY - No', forthcoming on Puss this month. 23:48 'Blueboy - Sandman' 30:50 'Sade - Couldn't Love You More (Vin Sol & MATRiXXMAN Remix)' 38:25 'Steve Reich - Nagoya Marimba (HNNY Edit)'
i love how you just focus on him and the connection he has with the music. You can see he is so into it and forgets there's even people around him. Such a passionate DJ
he is regularly doing "music for listening" kinda chill shows in stockholm at the moment and a couple of months ago I saw him in Uppsala where he did a super nice set with all his bangers
everyone in the background is so lucky and so lame - hnny is the only one really fkn jamming and i cannot comprehend it lol you’re the man dude this set is incredible/inspirational and your vibe is on check
