HOA DEMANDS I JOIN OR THEY'LL SEIZE MY FARM! This Is Private Property and I Have No Association 

I really wonder where HOA's think their food comes from. I had a great uncle that worked for a dairy in the 1960s. A farm near the one he worked on was sold. Developers build expensive (for that time) homes on the land. It didn't take long for a group of owner to decide that the smell from the dairies was offensive and wanted them to be made to move. Petitioned the county zoning board to make the dairies move. They were doing well, until their spokeswoman (college graduate) uttered the words " we don't need dairies, everyone knows that you go to the grocery store to get milk."

1st story: That smug HOA president is an eyesore himself! Without farmers there wouldn't be any milk, produce or meat on the table or even the grocery stores either! What the farmers should do, is get together, buy up ALL of the HOAs, fire those "karen & ken" presidents & make them all work on farms! Believe me, farmers ARE the backbone of America!😊

I'd tell the HOA in a not so polite way to go get stuffed

You gotta love new management. They don't take the time to learn how things work. Then proceed to alienate the ones that make things work. Then they are clueless as to why things don't work any more. Often times it turns out they're not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Last: Many organisations have a surplus of managers and a shortage of workers. From these Reddit stories, I gather that every time the org does well, they hire a new set of managers and every time they go thru a bad patch, the costliest workers (= most experienced) are let go. After all, a manager cannot put a shiv in a fellow manager, can he? (Sarcasm)

One thing I find extremely disturbing about HOAs and farmers is apparently these hoa's do not seem to understand nor grasp where the hell food comes from apparently they think it must come from an elephant's ass and it just s**** out whatever the hell food you need to go to the grocery store and it's already packaged nice and neat clean little packages and I already to go on the shelves! Then they get all pissy when they can't find something they want like it's the managers fault of the store who was getting the food from that farm they destroyed and he or she cannot get any more because of there is no Farm locally anymore within reason to order it at a reasonable price because once you destroy one Farm in the area you have to pay more to ship it in and you destroy that form with another HOA or guess what! You have to seek means even further out and look another HOA wants to destroy that farm too and so on and so forth until the point it gets to there's no more Farms now what are you eat I know let's all eat grass clippings! Oh we can't do that either because the hoa's won't let the grass grow tall enough to harvest damn mother f*** there too

The fact that it costs money when you receive a text or picture message is something I don't understand about the way the US system works. In Australia, the person sending the message pays 100% of the cost (and its always been that way). Same with calls, for normal calls to normal phones, the person making the call is the one who pays for it, the recipient doesn't pay at all. (and that's also how it has always been).

Phone one doesnt make sense..i remember those days...you had to accept pic texts. So they just kept accepting them? That was dumb...

I'm 33 and still into pokemon. Just found out that a few of my old nintendo games are worth a few hundred. Since I kept the original boxes with all the manuals and inserts packed away. So they are in excellent condition. I just put some up on ebay. Hopefully I can sell them. Money issues and all that.....life as an adult... lol

First story annexation and compulsory purchasing aren't neighborhood things they are government and the HOA isn't the government. Also don't forget there is the matter of 3miles between the HOA and the farm. Who controls areas that more than once real city, town at least in the US has been told they can't annex property even a quarter mile outside their limits without other city property involved
