How I see it that a restored old barn is going to increase the property value because there is people who like old barns and wouldn't mind living in a HOA if the location has some old fashion appearance in the area.
"That dilapidated shack is an eyesore and should be torn down." Me:"Well, you're an eyesore and yet you are allowed to be seen. Plus we're not part of the HOA, so get thee hence. BEGONE!"
The last story - Did 'Mom' (using the term loosely) ever get prosecuted for her forgeries and impersonations? I hope the boyfriend and his kids were able to resume their lives with the poster.
The one about the 32f who had an accident is a great example of why people should drive cars, not SUVs or Jeeps. People always say they drive them because it's "safer", but they actually lack many safety features that regular cars have. On top of that, it makes people over-confident in their car's ability to weather anything.
The problem with insulting someone over radio is everybody within range can hear or record it. It's not point to point. All it would take is getting one recording of the boss being raciest and the potential lawsuit would be staggering.
Luckily it's the 21st century because if it was the early 20th century or before that era the crazy lunatic would be shot and buried in a unmarked grave area. But farms are more protected by laws because we need food which mostly comes from farms.
