The last OP need to request a transfer if her company has other locations. Because restraining orders don’t work, they are pieces of paper that only if there are officers in the area will they be enforced. If OP is an “A” listers child maybe that can happen but unless that’s true, that paper isn’t worth much. Especially since her mother feels nothing comes before her rights as a mother regardless of how old OP is. Move AWAY!
Last: I feel sorry for the last OP. She is so messed up in the head due to her over controlling mom that she probably won't find peace until she changes name, family name, ph no and address and shift to another town at the least. Even better another state.
That means breaking up with her boyfriend because mom will continue to stalk him. She has to decide which is more important: breaking up, or hoping both she and bf getting restraining orders against mom will finally get the point across.
On the last one, I had the same problem myself it was easy. I joined the military. I know that's not an option for everyone, but it worked for me. Of course, I didn't have to worry about the cell phone issue because this was in the early 90s, and cell phones were not as prevalent.

I don't think she needs that at all. I have seen stuff like that go wrong very fast. If anything, maybe a few weeks in jail or prison. Will help her understand how not okay that is.

If Op was my landlord regardless I would sued him into the ground. Technically the guy did nothing wrong. It's the landlords fault for not putting into the lease agreement. Maintaining a livable place is the law. What Op did was retaliation and harassment extortion I would suit him so hard I would own the house by the time was done. Opie was so lucky that guy was stupid and not Sue him. Everything he did was highly illegal. Because everything that is in the place you rent the landlord is responsible to maintain and replace if need. When he remove items that is retaliation.

He wants to succeed on his own merits and not nepotism... but HIS daddy got him the internship, his daddy fired the manager for him, his daddy hired him right out of school... sounds like a nepo baby for sure.
