Hi everyone, and welcome to the first episode of the upgrade series on the awesome Absima CR-18 Pro Evo Trail Hunter
I am going to start with a set of Injora brass six spoke rims, and a set of their epic swamp crawl 64mm by 24mm tires.
So like always, I will be showing you in detail how I assemble my tires and rims.
And I’ll also be taking it around the backyard course to give it a good test.
On the next video, we will be installing some aluminium shocks.

Is that thing as quiet as it sounds in the video? How loud is it compared to other similarly moded vehicles of yours? Great video!! Love the channel.

It is actually quite quiet I can't say it's not, but the background noise is what kind of blocks it out. But when you crawl really slowly you can barely hear it! It's about the same as the Traxxas TRX4m or an scx24 I think it's a way bit of vehicle out of the box and at a very good price. Hey, I love your outdoor parcours 👍🏼 👍🏼. I recently tried to fit so e 1“ Injora wheels on my Trailhunter, but the wheels are touching the portal covers. How did you manage that, did you youse any hex extensions?

Thanks bro, I still got lots I'm going to be adding to the backyard course. 😁 No I had no issues with these rims and tires on the trail Hunter. But they are the offset rooms so they are flush on the back.

Kool...I cut the tops of the foam on these tires took away the bounce and made them grip better 😊

Muito obrigado, a Injora saiu com muitos jantes este ano! Já comprei uma cada, e a qualidade é 💯 Sim eu mando vir diretamente de Injora, o tempo de espera não é muito, é entre 9 á 14 dias, e várias vezes já chegaram em 7 dias O hobby plus e a FMS lançaram muitos crawlers este ano, e na minha opinião os mais inovadores! A construção é basicamente a mesma, entra as duas marcas! Agora aqui em Portugal e na Europa, a marca Absima adotou os Hobby Plus. Dá para comprar estes modelos á Absima ou revendedor RTRModelismo. E um site impecável para ver os modelos todos a um bom preço FairRC.com

Great video! I have the same setup but needed to trimm quite a bit the fender and bumper to eliminate rubbing of the big tires. You did not have this issue?

Thanks bro! it is an awesome truck, and with these rims and tires made it way more capable! Yes I also have this issue!! There is definitely a bit of rubbing!! But I have taken it out many times on the trail and so far it has been quite bearable. Before I trim anything I am going to fit a set of shocks and try some different locations to see if that will help! It is the video I am going to be working on next.
