What is the maximum resistive load you can use as a dummy load for external discharge? I have a couple 4 ohm 350-watt resistor dummy loads that I am thinking of using.
It's a very capable charger, and nice compact size. I do wonder why during discharge the indicated Watt value doesn't match the current X voltage, since the outcome of that multiplication should be equal to the power in Watts. During charging, this is fine, but how can it generate 36 Watt when it only draws 1.2A x 16.68v = 20.02 Watt from the battery? That leaves 16Watt unaccounted for, right? It can't be the display and fan taking this power, since during charge, both are also active, and then the indicated Watt is about equal to current X voltage. Maybe it's a software glitch? Would also be nice if the fan would not come on when the temp goes up just a few degrees. Even when charging a single 1S 250mAh battery, it comes on. In fact, even comes on when the charger is just idle, doing nothing. I am all for safety first, and prevent it from overheating, but I doubt the charger can overheat from charging a Tiny Whoop battery. ;-) Anyway, keep up the good work, I like how HobbyMate/HobbyCool often has a fresh approach on RC stuff, trying to make something a little different, and often better.
good observation. I have this charger and if you let the discharge run for 1.5 minute, the discharge display drop by itself to 20 watts. My specs. are the same -1.3A x 14.79 volts (lipo4s) = 20 not 30 nor 35 w. This charger doesn't seem to handle discharge at 30 watts as reported in its specifications.

Where do I get a balance plug that will work with this? I can’t plug in a HobbyKing Zippy battery 3s 2200 balance plug I believe it’s some type of JST type plug 4 pin
