I have 2 trx4 and I already installed Mamba X in one of them, I am happy with the punch, speed and crawler capability but I found is laud when I go indoor, I may gonna buy the Hobbywing for my second traxxas, seems to be "suuuuper" quite and very response on the slopes. I wish the motor has more kv's. Excellent review thank you.
Hi RC Review, Love your Reviews, time for an update on this system, After the firmware update it is even more stunning , Drag brake up to 200% and you can adjust the FOC so it feels more like a brushed motor when you get bind with a wheel as before it would just keep going , cheers, keep up the nice reviews
I really need a motor and esc setup, been looking at one of these. I guess Its a good deal because a bec is like 40 bucks anyway. ughh. I should pull the trigger. Starting my research with it now.
Halo RC Review, Always love your Reviews, one question, on trx6 im gonna buy this hw combo, if we change the BEC to 7.4v, i have change steering servo to power HD 25kg, but they other micro servo still stock, will it save for 3 other micro servo (dual speed n unlock diff) ? many thanks 🙏🏻
My axe combo arrived today for my TRX4, just curious I run the traxxis lighting setup off the red power wire like you are meant to but I see the Axe combo does not have power outlet ... not even to run a fan!!! can I just plug my lighting kit into the same receiver port as the lighting kit currently using with jus the signal wire
Seems no response. I'm wondering the same thing. I just got light kit put in, looking to upgrade to that setup in future, but maybe not if lights won't work
You can plug the light kit into the reciever even if it has one of those skinny red plugs with 2 wires just plug it into the positive and negative on the reciever and leave the white cable empty. I use splitters so I plug one end into my receiver and the other end has 2 plug ins and are like 10 for 5$ on Amazon.
That Jeep looks AWESOME! :) Feel free to check out "The Charlie Show", at the RU-vid channel "Hobbywing Official" for some sweet Hobbywing powered Adventures!
Proprietary sensor plug? No thanks Apple... A guy can save a decent chunk of money and go to Holmes Hobbies for a combo and support an American company with an actual RC crawling nut for an owner in the process. ;)
@@oldsjunkie1 that's what has me on the line...proprietary setups. Ion like em. Are there crawler brushless ESCs that can run brushed motors? And work with Traxxas light system?
@@vlozity I'm not saying it's bad it's a really good system but I'm not going to pay that much for a motor and ESC on a crawler, if I was rich I would buy it for sure because it does perform amazingly.
