just ordered 2x 1800kv SE and 2x 1200kv SE FOR 255 €uros 🤦♂️🤦♂️. Your video was straight out and decisions were made.. I need an advice.. to how to.. explain my wife that I am building two more rigs in total 4..ouh yeah and 5th body shell is still in the box somwhere in z garage. cheers from europe👌
I just installed the 1800kv Fusion SE in my heavily modded basecamp crawler... the vehicle is no longer a pickup truck. It has a green Toyota cab with a rear cage. Lots of brass, Capra shocks. Aluminum Diamond Plate bed...
I all really Ordered one Delivery Jan 6 I can wait my First Brushless in a crawler. Marry Christmas and Happy New Year .. looking forward to more more fun stuff.. i’ll probably need two of them. lol keep that link up ….
Yeah…, it is what you think! Put it in my Trailfinder2 and it’s a HUUUUUGE difference to the stock motor-ESC!!! Bought 2 of these and will upgrade all the brushed crap…
I currently have three PROs... Base Camp, Ecto and Capra. I think the next time I need a crawler motor, I'll try the new SE. I don't use any of the extra settings, so no need to spend the extra money. Heck, I have two AXE systems I need to post for sale.
Got two of these on there way. As far as the pro I have the 1200kv in my sc10iii bronco and paired with my spectrum dx4c and expo set up you can cut your trim test half that speed. So with your finger it’s even slower. I won’t buy anything else brushless unless I’m looking for brushed. Cool review!!!
Awesome review. Thanks man. I watched a couple other videos and they were saying the SE low speed control was not as good, I think you just proved them wrong. Looked good enough to me.
You inspired me to do a LCG build. I just picked up a Meus Racing frame kit, they're like $50 and are amazing! You should check them out! I'm also looking at the Hobbywing Fusion, so this video is perfect timing! I was looking to get the Fusion Pro, but since my LCG isn't going to be a trail rig, I guess don't really need the Pro. Thanks for the vids! Keep it up!
Well you made up my mind, gotta jump into brushless now! The 1800 looks plenty for my Capra with stock transmission. Merry Christmas Evo to you and your family from mine, another year of informative and fun videos, thank you.
@@ExocagedRC mine was a daily driver for a good couple months and then I played submarine with out doing waterproofing. Slowly bringing it back to life.
The SE looks fantastic, and at that price it's pretty much a no-brainer. Unless you're lucky enough to live in Norway, like I do. The old Fusion: 1.695NOK (roughly 170 bucks), the Fusion SE: also 1.695NOK, the Fusion PRO: 1.895NOK (roughly 190 bucks). So, yeah, with the SE and the Pro the price difference is just 20 bucks here. Not much of a budget option then... 😭
I have NOT been a fan of brushless motors for crawlers for the very reasons of high cost and lack of Plug-n-Play simplicity. I very much look forward to your testing in the rocks. Merry Christmas; Joe, and to your lovely wife.
