Go check my on the water review on what I thought about the new Lynx! Is this the next best river Kayak? Comment down below on what your thoughts are on the New Hobie Mirage Lynx!!!
Thanks for the video Chad. I was excited when you went to the garage and I saw the Cusa. Having paddled both of the two yaks I was just looking at moving to, what's your take on them? I'm heavily leaning towards the Lynx just because of the weight. I currently have a sit in Native Watercraft that weighs around 60 lbs and I just went from an Outback to a RAV4 and the extra height has made that weight just about the limit of my car topping ability.
Hey what’s up thanks for watching the video. So far I’m loving the Lynx, I pack very light when I go fishing on the rivers and in general lately so it makes it even a lot more less stressful not having to worry about what I’m bringing a board on my trips to make it even lighter! Stay tune for more videos.. Thanks again 😎
Yeah it’s a huge shortage in kayaks right now with everybody your best bet is to call around out of state if you don’t have any in state of where you live and put a deposit on one and make the drive other than that there should be a shipment on most Hobie dealerships near you at the beginning of next year of what I keep hearing! Hope this helps!
Thanks Chad for putting this together, great video. What are you thoughts on how the water slaps on the hull? Ive been hearing alot of feedback from some folks that its pretty loud. Ive always owned rotomolded yaks (some jackson, thumbs ups) and never been an issue. Looking for a river kayak up north (pa) for smallies and now split between the lynx and i11. The noise and durability has me on the fence.
No problem at all! Thanks for watching and yeah the Lynx can be a little loud but there’s ways around fixing that with putting the Marine mat decking down which will reduce a lot of noise more than guaranteed and either or of the kayaks would be great to have for a river kayak but in my opinion I would go with the Lynx 😎
