Wow, alot of really fun stuff in this haul, Shannon! The Atlas Seaboard stuff is always fun to see and collect. And you KNOW I'm a big Captain Action fan of both the comics and the toys back in the day. So glad you were able to snag that Comic Reader, Brother! Such a great and unique cover with all those characters in one cool picture! VERY nice copy of that Action Comics DC Limited Editions book, man! That's still on my hunt list (along with a thousand other books 😜) Great haul, amigo, thanks for sharing them and congrats!
Hey Shannon, hope you're having a great Fathers Day. I like when people show on their porch, very cool. Very cool books, especially those action packed War books & Captain Action#2 I like that cover alot. Very cool Famous 1st Edition Action Comics#1, love the Famous 1st Editions, I also like the double cover effect of them. I don't know if I've mentioned this before, I like the Beatles as well, I have some rare Beatles 45s, Albums, cards, mags, pins etc.

Hi, Shannon! I hope that you had a nice Father's Day! What a great "hodgepodge" of comics to show off to us. Atlas Comics, the Red Circle Mighty Crusaders, OAAW, Even Geronimo Jones! I have that issue Comic Reader (Somewhere). I had to have it just for the wrap-around cover featuring all of those defunct super-heroes from the 1960's. BTW, you're right. That is Herbie, in his guise of the Fat Fury, on the bottom left. Fat Man, The Human Flying Saucer is on the top row, in his green and yellow costume. Fun Fact for you (I hope): the hero kneeling down on left close to Herbie is Captain Marvel! Yeah, the robot hero who, when he yelled Split! could disassemble his body, and make his body parts do what he needed to be done. To re-assemble himself he'd yell the word Xam. Even for the 1960's, this Captain Marvel was a strange concept. Thanks for the video!

That early 1980's Red Circle line excited me at the time. Buckler on Mighty Crusaders, Gray Morrow on Black Hood, Jim Steranko covers on The Fly. So much potential. Unfortunately, issues frequently being published months late and the inability to keep stable creative teams on their books, among other problems, doomed that line.
Kane and Wood together, yow! Those Macabre mags are truly hard to run across…had to buy mine online. Hopefully the weather won’t be quite as hot as predicted. Have a great week!
