Team Hots is the best dev team at Blizzard. Change my mind. Okay maybe the "anomalies" like the random buffs and gladiator's medallion are wack but that's the only bad thing that ever happened to this game + OG Garrosh.

@@ryanfoxworth1015 Yeah Ryan, I really think it is. Its very different from LOL and DOTA. In some ways its a much simpler game but its also a lot more engaging in other areas IMO. The different maps and objectives for example keep it fresh, and some of the great hero design you won't find in other games.
@@dcleary what i like the most about it is that you level up as a team and you don't have to manage items which is unintuitive to new players. Also different talents are more interesting than simply putting points in a skill for more damage for example
True dedication. Seeing hustles like this from developers is always so inspiring. Reminds me of when the now defunct Motiga developers worked for two months without salary to fulfill their vision. So sad to see what happened there in the end.
Yeah, and he looks great, not like Mephisto... I´m so sad he is nothing like he should have been. Now something like baal would make me come back... but hope a good representation of him in both skills and design.
I had given up on HotS after hearing they were essentially left for dead with a skeleton crew and hardly anything to work with. If their skeleton crew is willing to continue fighting to pull out content for us, I'm more than willing to continue the fight for their efforts.
@@Lunatic108 it's been dying, that's not news to anyone since Actiblizzard announced they'd only be leaving a skeleton crew for HotS to update and fix bugs and had for all intent and purpose, abandoned it despite it thriving. If this is what they're skeleton crew can do, if they're still willing to put forth the effort instead of just being content to just "babysit" an abandoned project, I'm willing to honor their efforts and play again.
@@Lunatic108 Can you not make up statements and numbers? Hogger does have a release (pirate) skin. In 2019 they released 4 new heroes and in 2018 it was 9 new heroes.
@@PhO3NiX96 How about a decent paycheck instead of making half of the industry standard while being forced to live in an area so expensive that devs (even married devs with families) have to share houses/apartments? All the devs of Blizzard _REALLY_ deserve better than Blizzard has ever treated them, even before Activision took over.

and this is why i love heroes. even with all their funding essentially gone, a shrinking playerbase, and no reason to continue, they keep pumping all of this out

It was also the last ever hero to be release, And for that in 2022 Blizzard has ended Heroes Of The Storm major development, But send it to Maintenance Mode.

Who would win: The corrupted black dragon aspect who singlehandedly is responsible for bringing cataclysm to the entirety of Azeroth and took the might of all the other dragon aspects as well as the mortal forces with the dragon soul to be defeated. OR A gnoll in Elwynn Forest with ball n chain.
This guy isn't Kevin but I still appreciate that the dialogue is clear and the clips are highly illustrative of exactly what they're talking about. With League, their videos often fails to adequately depict the various synergies and linked affects they're talking about. Or at least, that was the case for some time.
This narrator's badass, and Hogger looks so fun first and foremost. No idea how good he'll be, how his waveclear is gonna pan out, etc. But who cares? Hogger doesn't, it's there in the video. Just fling yourself to a wall!

Big thanks to the Dev team for relentlessly workin their asses to realease more content despite everything , as well as the CCL and all the amateur tournaments organisers out there. HOTS is not dead , will never die , and the community is stickin to it . Give it time lads , have faith in the game and many things will be re-established the way they were before .
I'm really surprised for the amount of hardwork they give in to this game, it's a shame that it went downhill but still awesome, keep it up and we will support it till the end!!
@@StayVCA98 To be fair it would be a bad idea to give it a production team the size of what it had initially, or the size of games like LoL and Dota. The reason why is honestly quite simple, this is a lot more niché. The problem stems from how HotS was designed, it was designed to be less competitive than it's counterparts and thus more inclusive. While this is a big win for the people that loves HotS, it's likely a pretty major part of the complete collapse of the competitive scene. MOBAS have a rather odd game design, as in they are designed for the top players, because that is where the money's at. This also comes with the side effect of having competitiveness being a cornerstone of said games - remove that and you're suddenly looking at a different audience and it's harder to commercialise competitive play, since it is less interesting to watch. The main elements that lead to this is likely group xp, no items, no last hits, less focus on individual play more focus on group play, map variation, and stuff in similar categories. It deserves to be cared for by a tiny crew that cares, because anything else would be idiotic from a financial standpoint.
@@ButterBoyism In short despite it's great idea, the overall game became problematic because of how it was created that made it your not so average Moba that made the genre standout in the first place... But still if only they could've at least been more patient and invested just a little more, maybe like a game mode that has all the classic Moba elements in it like items, one Ult and no talents etc. Maybe it could've been big, but no instead they slightly killed off its Esports, laid down many employees, and left us players like nothing, after that it was never the same, the game was in a coma like state now, I mean we're happy on what we're getting but this could only get this far, if only just that didn't happened, maybe the game could've been at least more livelier... 😔
While he wasn't one of my personal picks for the next HotS hero, he was still a very demanded character, so I'm glad that he got added. Still, I do hope that in the future we'll get more SC and Diablo heroes (ESPECIALLY SC ones since we didn't get one for almost 3 bloody years), with Arcturus Mengsk, Rory Swann, Baal, and Belial being my personal top picks.

you know when something is wrong when a skeleton crew makes more uniqe champions for their moba game than multibilion company with a lot of money and devs
I mean... Not unique as there were enough spinning characters and aoe knockback+stun ones as well. More so that they don’t really need to think of a character base for hots, just pull out one from other blizzard games. More so that with WoW and its every new expansion, they’ll never run out of content to pull into hots.

Are people really that oblivious? I started last year, when the dev team already got cut. Since then content of some kind comes out just about every month, new videos show on this channel. I hardly have any wait time whenever I play, and people are still derping ThiS gaMe iS sTill AliVe? Yes, it's alive, quit trolling and play your game until you get bored next week. Such short attention spans.
