nope i play both meepo and TLV myself, and find them very different until later stages of the game. They look the same only in the sense of controlling multi heroes and the exp advantage. They may involve using similar microing skills, but the idea/purpose of these two are totally different.
My best friend and I went as a two headed person when we were 8 years old. We had to teach each other to walk in sync. Ever since then we've been synchronizing each other in all sorts of things especially gaming. Cho'gall was made for us.
There's two things I love about HotS that other mobas don't really do. The first thing is that you have no kill stealing, because kills don't really matter. The second one is that HotS tries something different with every few heroes. Ideas like Abathur, Cho'gall and the Lost Vikings are just amazing. Especially when they work!
Wesly Rosales the problem with HoTS in Asia is that 90% of players are South Koreans which made a language barrier.. I agree, HoTS is much better than DOTA2 and this coming from a veteran since warcraft DOTA mod
Played Cho'gall at Blizzcon. Absolutely loved it. Not the Warlock I was expecting, but he definitely fits the bill. Well... half of the bill at least :P
+DavorBa both ran by same group (TGN), what they dont use in the main WTF Moments often gets put into the Mini's (one of mine made the mini's but was submitted to WTF moments)
Ruthven78 Gaming Thanx for clearing that out for me. I wondered why one (probably the main one) had less videos but more subs, while it was vise versa for the other one. May I ask, which play was yours in in #39 ?
I find the old WarCraft 2 debate between heads to be aptly applied to the new conversations pugs will have: "I'm ready!" "I'm not ready!" * combo misses *
This is why i love HotS more than any other MOBA, they are not afraid to try something new. You already had the Vikings, 3 heroes controlled separately, and now you have a hero controlled by 2 players. This is why HotS is the best, + fun maps, + more maps ......
NightBell i play with silvers and low golds on skype and we do a lot together, try to find new people and give lol a new chace, its not that bad, HotS is a lot more creative, but lo is not bad.
Imagine this becomes real in WoW. You play with your friend since forever, you break your friendship with him and now you just play alone while the other is just staring blankly.
really interesting concept. As long as Blizz keeps coming up with weird and interesting character mechanics like this, that stay true to the character, Hots has a lot to offer.
That... is actually a really cool idea. This is why I love this game: It's doing what League did for the genre many years ago. Pioneering new gameplay concepts, reinventing what the game is able to do, etc.
Man , Heroes is really exciting and getting there ! what a unique hero to play with ! It's insane to have such mechanics in this kinda game ! Looking forward to use and meet this hero in battle gl hf Heroes !
Yeah, like controlling a hive mind, you tell them where to go and they autoattack. Your abilities can either buff them or make them scatter or something. The heroic could be a massive buff to each zergling. Sorry for the necro btw
Please tell me Gall's heroic animation will be fixed in the future, he's literally shooting purple fire balls from his chest without doing anything. Anyway, great job!
+Ballin I think that's because Cho is the hero, while Gall acts as an Abathur Hat. Abathur's symbiote doesnt make the hero do any anymations, so maybe that's why gall's abilities don't make animations
+Alexgaby15 Yeah I guess the concept is the same, but Abathur's symbiote has moving animations, whereas with Cho'Gall it looks pretty funny how spells are just popping out of his belly 3:38
***** His abilities don't make animations, but his Q and W create a shadowy firgure of gall that throws them, but I think his ults should make that animation too.
+Benjoleo Cho'gall won't be bought in the store as soon as he comes out. Players who gotten the Virtual Ticket or went to Blizzcon physically will get Cho'gall automatically and they will spread the "Cho'gall Virus" What that means is that players who have Cho'gall can give other people Cho'gall when they play as one of the heads. As for when he's available on the store I'm certain you'll have both Cho and Gall for the price of one hero. As for the drafts Cho and Gall can't be picked first or last only in the between.
In the spotlight they showed that each head has his own button, Cho and Gakk portraits are present so I think he has normal match making you just need your counterpart so it can take a bit longer to find game.
This is really cool. Reminds me of Eyedol from Killer Instinct (the rebooted version) where half of the fighter is a close quarters rush down character and the other half is a zoning spellcaster! Cool concept indeed!
+Wee Ching Chok exactly, no body will be able to leave lanes then. Unless they can keep getting mega kills and such, otherwise their level would be so disadvantaged.
+Deman Dema Cho is the one that controls the movement, so he soaks the stuns and slows. i know gall is immune to silence. good point though on knockback you probably will be able to knock gall out of channeling his aoe ultimate. though I don't know anything for certain beyond whats been revealed about their abilities.
I have a feeling, Gall will be played by girls a lot. This is the perfect hero for guys to bring their girlfriends into gaming...." you don't need to control him to move or anything. yeah, just release your q w e r when you feel like it. We got this, girl." :p
+Nil_is I agree, that was the same reason my girlfriend loved to play Mario Kart Double Dash, she could just hang out on the back and throw turtle shells.
+Jaryd Fontana hahaha. it's always good to be able to bring the girls into games no matter what roles they do. →_→ there's too many girls complaining that the boyfriends spend much more time on gaming instead of with them. Finally, the two best parts of life can be done at the same time. XD

Bakercraft Gaming Because LoL is just more popular...*sigh*. Most of my reallife friends are playing LoL as well...i feel lucky some of my friends could actually follow me to HoTS.
+GameFuMaster Less frustration. When you are on a competitive match, all you think about is trying to win and hoping for the best that your whole entire team doesn't suck balls. Playing against bots is a pretty lax games for some, without the needless worry of the whole team losing.
+Ambrosia if your playing against bots, most likely your one of those players on the team that sucks balls :P there are even 2 categories of matchplay, one for more serious competitive players and one for people wanting to just play. (you cant even play the former without playing a shitload of the latter) the bot category is like the kids menu. how often do you go out and order from that? unless your still at that age... then its completely appropriate i guess.
Ambrosia big boys in video games, funny. Bots are there for people to play with sure. You choose to play a game literally built specifically for competitive play. I mean, why not choose a game... idk, a single player game whos bots are npcs and unfold a story or riddle for your entertainment? Those bots are the droids your looking for. Its hard to imagine a moba player that just plays against bots. In fact, if you havent noticed, i think its retarded. But hey, like someone above posted, if thats what tickles your pickle.... or clam. On a side note, why are you playing a competitive game if you dont want competition?
