@@babyboy1971 I have zero issues. My one complaint is its design, in that you mount it upside-down if you wish to access the camera's USB port. But apart from that, it's been great!
These do come in handy when you want to turn off Hyper-Smooth, so can get better low light video apply some ND filters and get some cinematic motion blur. Great review Shawn, and thanks for sharing.
thank you for this review..finally I have found a gimbal to match my expectations..I’ve had a few and NON of them work with my iphone 13 pro max because of its weight..so this is the next best option to use with my dji action cam..your video swayed me buying one
My complaint about this product is the little white lights that show which of the 4 modes you are in are too small and too dim. They are impossible to see outside during the day.
I've tried to stabilize a Hero 11 Black using the Feiyu G6 ( I made a custom bracket, video coming soon), using HyperSmooth with Boost, and using the combination of both. All resulting with the horrendous stabilization JITTERS. The G6 just can't balance properly with an 11 Black but I couldn't figure out why handheld with HyperSmooth was so jittery. Thank you for pointing out that 180° shutter & ND32s are the culprit. I had never heard this before. It always worked great on my MAX 360°, now I understand why... cant use NDs!! Looking at the Hohem now, great review as always brother!!
Enjoyed the video very much. The point about the wider field of view should the eis be turned off is well taken. I have an ozmo actin cam so I'm a bit surprised that Hohem didn't offer more firmware and software updates so the unit could be paired with action cams other than gopro.
Cool looking gimbal like the red and black color scheme. Iam a little sceptical about the quick release. How long will the spring last before it wears out. Usually one would want there expensive camera more secure . Another secondary quick lock would be nice. I ended up getting the zhyiun m2 but i might pick this one up also just for how small it is.
Excelente video. Punto en contra. No se puede instalar la Gopro con el case de audio externo, una verdadera falla para bloggers. Por lo demás excelente
i am considering one of these to removed the left-to-right and right-to-left micro movements that i can't seem to stop myself from doing. Thank you for the review.
Hi. I have a Wolfang GA300 action camera. How do I connect my camera to the gimbal? To record, do I have to manually load to record and then use the Gimbal or can it be connected like the Go Pro? Thanks
A gimbal? YES - My Hero 9 burns resolution attempting to steady itself. It also has a brain hemorrhage whenever I pan slowly (it treats panning like a 'problem,' runs out of headroom, jerks ahead, and repeats). The camera also tilts the screen like a drunken sailor, and only rights the ship on occasion. I plan to turn off 'hyper-smooth,' mount the Hero 9 on this truly steady gimbal, and get back to making videos that do not drive me crazy. FYI -- I have earlier Hohem models for smaller cameras -- and they work great!
Hello Sir...I have a question.. If Gopro Hero 9 is attached to Mic adapter or Media mod and record with quick capture ..will voice recorded or not??.. Please give me solution or make a video of it for Motovloging
I bought this mainly for Timelapse but seem to only get video motion lapse. I don't get how Timelapse works or not? 30s up to 6hrs motion only, no 2,3,5s settings for actual Timelapse?
I want to shoot in low light conditions so I used it with hero 9 with hypersmooth turned off... but the video is not Smooth as i expected. Shakes in the video are visible which gives a feeling of regerting buying this gimbal.
Can we use external mic on this iSteadyPro4 with GoPro 11 ? At 1m55sec, a mount option is shown. Assuming we can mount external mic (like a dji). How / Where do we connect external mic to GoPro11 (as there is no support for media mod)
thanx for that video! one question: is there any gimbal for gopro or iphone where i can programme a movement like here with the timelapse, but in „normal“ video mode?
Very good review. But this was a year back or so. So is there anything better for Go Pro (I am specifically looking for GP8), in today's market, or still this one rulez?
@@AirPhotography Thanks and happy Sunday. I did order iSteay Pro4 and it has arrived only haven't had time to open, charge an enjoy it yet. I'm sure I'll like it, especially for its long run time, capability to charge other devices, portrait mode, ease of putting the camera on or off without the need for calibration and more important that all, that Timelapse feature that I'm very much into it. Anyways and thanks a lot for your good demonstration of the gimble. Have a great week ahead.
Yes, indeed the microphones on the GoPro are very sensitive and sometimes you will pick up a little bit. I don’t find it overly annoying, but you can definitely hear it from time to time.

Video của bạn chia sẻ rất hữu ích ! Bạn có thể thêm Phụ đề, ngôn ngữ Việt Nam được không ??? Cảm ơn bạn nhiều !
It’s a pretty small tripod indeed if you want something really stable your best to put it on something bigger. However some of that Wobbling was because I’m moving my desk and I have a thin layer of wood over it that buckles
Thanx for the video. I have a question. I realize that the iSteady 4 has fast charging to external device (serving as a power bank) uning USB-C. Do you know if the iSteady 3 has the same USB-C capabilities (since I own an Osmo Action, I don't necessarily need to buy the more expensive iSteady 4, which I hear is identical to the 3, except for the support for the Hero 10). Because if the iSteady 3 doesn't have a USB-C connection, that is a big con against buying it and getting the iSteady 4. Thanx again.
istaedy 3 have mini usb .fast charging 2A. . with osmo action you have no start/stop button. better you use a powerbank with a longer smooth usb cable than the gimbal port. steady 4 is more in balance without motor save Power
@@guyhanoi8561 I think the 4 is the better option, usb c. and to fix the camera at the gimbal is much mor easy. for longer power take a second camera accu with you. or take a Smartphone gimbal with adapter plate for action cams. to start your cam use the mimo app for the Smartphone. hohem app for the gimbal
@@lutzmix Thanx. So if it's problematic anyways to charge and I decide no to try (so usb-c or not doesn't matter much), the only big advantage is the easier mounting? Did I get you right? mmm... So now it's just a matter if it's worth the 25$ extra cost :)
When it comes to gimbals, they’re all decent and perform very similarly. There hasn’t really been a lot of new innovation over the last couple years. For myself it’s whatever you can get the best price on and what features you’re looking for.
@@AirPhotography Thanks for the reply.. I was looking at iSteady Pro 4 and Inkee Falcon Plus(allowing media mod & external mic).. Do you have a preference between these two ?
I bought this because of your review on it was amazing. However, I’ve been having issues with it. When I charge the gimbal, it automatically turns my GoPro Hero 9 on. Even if the camera is not on the gimbal. When paired, the GoPro automatically goes to the photo mode. The switch button only lets me toggle between the photo mode and video mode. It doesn’t switch over to the timeline lapse mode. Is there anything you can recommend me do to troubleshoot it? I reached out to Hohem but they have not responded.
Its not really good.. i disapointed.. screen is not availible in 100% so is hard to change options in go pro.. anyway don t give enaough stabilization and somethimes he is getting crazy when you doing video (when u making video and trying to do smoothly movements he can turn position in one moment in completly different way)
