Hello there ladies and gentlemen today something magical is about to happen today in todays video! The Spiffing Brit today attempts to take over the world using only Planes! Thats right using the wonderful game of HOI4 / Hearts Of Iron 4 as a medium we are going to break the game and create a monstrosity that will make you laugh and question why you haven't been drinking tea this entire time!
This video is going to be packed with funny clips in a montage style of british humor!

@@dog9325 early early colonies yes but when the colonies became bigger and went from small villages to large towns then britain then started taxing the fuck out of them, the tax on printed material was obnoxous then britian decided to put a smaller tax on other stuff and plus a notable tax on tea which tea then was a big deal, of course no one liked that, it may not seem like a big deal now but back then it was a serious thing, now of course the American cities became independant and do their own thing but of course taxes are used for like paved roads (muddy dirt roads were made over time but are not great when it came to rainfall) plus paying soldiers, I will tell you the musket got quite a bit of action

@@dog9325 also there were other taxes but imagine having to pay like lets say 2 pences (for where you are most likely gonna have around a total of 5 pences a day) and you print paper daily, I can tell you having to pay 2 pences everyday and every time you want to print anything is a pain in the ass or paying 2 pences on anything that is made of paper like playing guards which everyone uses

Don't think this is an overflow since that would mean you'd have around 2 billion planes (assuming it's an unsigned 32-bit integer) looks more like a simple arithmetic error, so it gives Syria -1 million planes and takes -1 million planes from France resulting in it actually subtracting planes, simple logic check to see if it's below zero should fix an error like this, just a minor oversight, but yeah the thing about electronic voting does apply here :')

@@NiekSchoemaker you are right that it is a logic bug. Not sure if it is just a minor oversight however. Because I assume (have not tested this) that just using a small amount of planes will work. Also that you get 1876018 planes and not 2 billion or 2.4mil (as he entered) is a bit strange. (I'm assuming 1 truck is important, that prob is the only thing that is checked, and then something else weird happens that transforms the 2.4 mil into 1876018). But that is just me armchair bug fixing. In reality it is something totally different ;).

It was an integer under/overflow. He had negative so many planes, that it wrapped back around to positive many.

The game used a signed int without a maximum entry check. This caused an overflow error changing the variable to negative. He then gave these negative planes to Syria... or you could say he removed negative planes from France. Essentially, 0 -(-1)=1.... Amazing game mechanics.
