All major / most minor nations were set up based on their actual real life numbers (source: globalfirepower.com). China received a boost to its navy to make up for the difference between the default Millennium Dawn Mod numbers and what China actually has in 2022 - in terms of its ratio vs the US Navy. Industry of China was as well boosted to reflect its current national output more closely (source: www.statista.com/chart/20858/top-10-countries-by-share-of-global-manufacturing-output). The nations I picked for either side were for the most part influenced by Whatifalthist videos (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JrDJQ15u5_A.html) on the same topic. Though I normally never like sacrificing realism for the sake of balance of sides in any scenarios, some nations were put under Russo-Sino side for that purpose. I am hoping and counting on us never finding out how right or wrong this setup was!

Agree with most of the video except that it's unrealistic that Bangladesh , India or Pakistan will get involved since they try to play good on both signs. Eg Russia and India have strong Millitary alliances, but India is economically tied with America and at the same time Pakistan is a formal US ally but has strong economic ties with China. And, Bangladesh has an official non-involvement stance in these issues since it wants to be the "Switzerland of the East."

@@bubazell1 Numbers can overwhelm though, without support or supply from other countries it could slowly get conquered unless they can hold off against millions of chinese and north korean troops.

I know it's hoi4 and it doesn't account for severe economic sanctions or cyber warfare but it's pretty realistic. China will not be invaded by sea (death sentence), Russians will have the jump on Europe, but eventually NATO will win.
I'm not sure. China owns some of africa and are getting more aggressive in indebting countries. Europe could very well face a war from the east and south if china leverages this advantage. Wether or not the us falls is beyond me but I'm not confident in NATO as a whole. Thats assuming china sides with russia.

I don’t have faith russia could overrun European NATO anymore, they struggle to break through the tiny Ukrainian lines in Donbas imagine a front thousands of miles long with an actually modern force, they’d get steamrolled

You guys will. You guys in Europe work very closely together because of nato and a lot of y’all countries in nato are in the top 30. (Ukraine is 22) You even have 4 countries in the top 20 and 2 countries in the top 10!
A lot of the blue countries arent really blue in reality. India, vietnam and indonesia have huge chinese trade and are most likely neutral unless invaded. Nearly all middle east countries are either neutral or forced to go Red if Israel starts taking land (most likely), giving a huge advantage to the Reds with their oil. And before moscow or beijing falls all their nukes would be fired, more than 10000 of them compared to the few hundred here. Total conquest of such vast amount of land is near impossible, with guerrila warfare continuing, most likely at some point there will be stalemate and become unwinnable for both sides.
America also has "huge chinese trade". That's not really that important or distinct. And you clearly know absolutely nothing about Middle Eastern geopolitics
It's the people in powers, military installations that are the key targets here. Guerrilla warfare will be continuing, but they know it's meaningless to conquer land, it's setting their powers that's the matter.
India doesn't really stand with any side as BRICS is more of an economical alliance and not really a military alliance so India would stay neutral. Vietnam, on the other hand, would definitely stand with the Russians and the Chinese.
@@MaximiIIianWhile they do have good relations with Russia as a result of BRICS, they have bad relationships with China. I'm not entirely sure India doesn't like the US solely because of their alliance in Russia though.

The simulation forgot about the conflict in South America. Venezuela is a dictatorship that supports Russia and has one of the largest military forces in South America. And I see no reason for India to support the US in this scenario. Due to the BRICS, it is very likely that China, Soth Africa and India will support Russia, and only Brazil will be against the ecnomic group.
India nearly went to war with China a year or two ago, and tensions between Brazil and brics are growing a bit too. Also, Venezuela is with the Russians in the video, but it's surrounded by US' South American friends
India also has conflicts with Pakistan. I think they would declare war on China or Pakistan if given an opportunity, but stay neutral with the European war since they are allied with both the USA and Russia.
