@@derekspitz9225 You have a point there if we are comparing Steve and Ringo or other 80+ year olds :) This was just my observation of Luke's young spirit and love of music, protruding through a 65 year old person. Of course, Ringo touring and performing at 83, man... that is something. And if you look at him on stage, when he is introducing the band, there is no way you'd say that that guy is 83. Impressive in any case!
I hate “best” arguments and much prefer a “my favorite is” approach. With that said, Luke is as good as anyone who has played the instrument. Monster player.
Going to see them again in one week. Saw the band right before Covid and thoroughly-enjoyed them. Ringo is such a positive person and his All-Starr band is always so good. What's even better is they're playing only ten miles from my home.
Just caught this same concert last night. These guys all rocked out and were obviously just having fun playing gigs. Everyone a star in their own right, it was like a festival in one concert. ✌️
Amazing group of talent and longevity! Also would love to give a shout out to one of the least known members that people should know, Warren Ham, guy can play multiple instruments very well and he actually could sing lead for alot of bands!

Awesome. Sounds just like Toto.But I'd say sax player Warren Ham back up there behind Lukather playing the congas is the star here killing it and nailing the Bobby Kimball vocal parts.

Looks like Luke finally ran out of black hair dye. (I kid, of course. It's nice to see him accept his elder statesman (or is it guitarsman) status, but he still rocks it at his age.
If back in the 80s when I saw Toto 2xs live, someone told me that I'd see Ringo playing drums for Luke doing a Toto song, I'd ask them if they were drunk! - yes, I know that Luke plays *for* Ringo but still. What a wild world!

I love these guys and I'm a drummer and I just have a thing where I really don't like two drummers in a band I just think one is good enough and it's like having two lead guitarist both try the same to play the same thing I don't know just kind of irritating and then you have two bass drums going at the same time which is too muddy sounding it actually takes away it does not add.. they should just take turns and give the other guy a break or something. I think Doobie Brothers used to have two drummers but the way they mixed it it wasn't overdone but anyway Steve it's just awesome as always and great to see Ringo still doing his thing and also the guy singing the falsetto notes sounded really great whoever he is? Great post!

Ringo needs to be studied in the longevity space. He has somehow stopped aging and that is after a lot of illness in his first twenty years. Also all the abuse he has put his body through seems to have not aged him. He’s a freak of nature. The guy doesn’t even have a wrinkle on his face.
