This 2015 Holden Barina RS was showing a P0229 trouble code for an underboost condition. Turbo problems are pretty common on these 1.4 turbo engines, and I was asked to swap it out. I didn't make the diagnosis; I just did the parts swap. I don't work on GM cars often, and this vehicle was a good reminder of why.
This engine is used in the Chevy Sonic as well as other GM vehicles around the flat globe.
