@@Blandy0487 Bruh, only now you are figuring out that companies making videogames are doing it for the sake of profit? they did it in 1997, they do it today and will continue doing it for eternity.
@@realestalex2728 One requires the others existence to exist. Everything good about the new one is what they took from the old one, because the old one was a work of art You do realize that art can be sold to people right? You've been drinking from the nostalgia milk I take it
This was the moment I’ve been wanting them to nail for the entire time I’ve waited for this game. This track hitting in OG FFVII was the first time I realized in 97 what a special game this was. It hitting here was like remembering an old, special memory.
Except they misused it and ruined the whole moment. It SHOULD be playing on the tracks segment and it should have been at DUSK. why do they have to change such important things... Like forcing the Zolom fight
@@DroLeo420nah, it wasn't ruined lol, is just a different use, and it was pretty cool lo Zolom was also cool, althought i like more that part in the original, just because is different doesn't make it bad
@@darshio8307 eh it's just my opinion. I like this game a lot overall, but I played og when I was 10 and so many little things stuck in my mind that didn't really pay off here.
I love how they used that hook to tie it back to Claudia in the flashback during chapter 1, and hearing it again at this point in the game where everything is pretty fun and happy and beachy makes me both nostalgic and at ease. Except that knowing what's to come also tugs at my heart strings. Its as if to say we are approaching the point of dusk in this journey and the long night is ahead.
You and me both. This is easily the most evocative track for me from OG FF7 and so to hear it in Rebirth almost had me in tears. This game is something special and I’ll treasure it forever.
It seems there are 2 versions of the track.. one with the saxo and another with bells (which resembles to the original and it’s my favorite). The saxo version played the first time I entered the regionz now Im listening the bells version.
what a time to be a ff7 fan..never in my life would i ever think we'd experience something like Rebirth. I'm 38 now..played the OG FF7 constantly..bought the soundtrack...to see my favorite music and polygonal heroes turned into this absolutely beautiful experience..it just hits all the right spots in my heart. Nothing brings about nostalgia than this. and when part 3 comes out..and im 40-something..you can bet your butts ill be crying agan.
thanks for the upload! this is one version of the song (jazzy) which plays near Costa del Sol entrance. when you journey further from the entrance, it gives you the actual version
Those who played the PC demo which was basically the entire Mt Corel section up till going to the Gold Saucer would have this music stuck in their head
The first part of the song had me fuming. Thought they butchered the song. But then after hearing the second part, it had me smiling, I changed my mind. This is a great remake of the song 😄😄😄😄
I really wished this track anf hiking track would be swapped. Also absence of sunset on railtrack kinda piss me off. So much drtail in this game yet i feel they didnt inderstood the asignment here.
I was literally just listening to the original FF VII version of this song. It somehow evokes a sense of nostalgia and wonder. The Rebirth version has more of a relaxed, blues/jazz kind of feel. Honestly, it's nice, but it doesn't do the original justice, in my opinion.
I found there is two versions one with the horns and other with strings. The version that we hear is the first version you hear upon leaving Costa Del sol the first time. However when you return to the area after you complete Mt corel dungeon. You will hear the 2nd verson.
this ost is a shame , like spitting on the original ost , seriously the dev / composer of this shitty remake probably never played the original game and just don't like the final fantasy serie ????
