Perfect timing. I waited just long enough to follow-up with a professional connection of mine and got passed up for an opportunity that "should" have been mine and instead, went to someone way less experienced.

Redeem yourself of your crime. Its the only way. If you don't want your dark past to overshadow you, then your only choice is to redeem yourself so successfully so your past can be forgiven by yourself and be overlooked by others
