Holiday Gift Idea 5 of 10: Roland electronic drums 

This is the drum set I use. It's expensive, but has the look and feel of real drums plus a headphones option and tons of drum type emulations. I got mine at Sweetwater. Their sales and customer service people are best I have ever experienced. Patient and helpful.
