I just bought a new Holley Relief valve rebuild kit for my Electric Holley Red fuel pump and when I took it apart to replace the gasket I went ahead and just replaced it all that came in the kit. My question is when I took mine apart it didn't have a screen in it or a copper washer on the relief valve screw...why is that????? P.S I did go ahead and put a screen that came in the kit in it
@@ssdtrain1 my problem went away after cleaning the carburator it was leaking and i put a return regulator on it .its still the same pump never touched it.and it works steady now
@@Evrenthewrencher yeah, carb is new,, everything is new,, car sits more than drives, 3 miles on new motor.. pump 2 years old just had minimum time on it.. I'm thinking base gasket cracked or bad from being on shelf. checking it 2morrow.
You camera man is horrible at following what you hands that are moving to fast are doing. You are trying to talk so fast you brain can't keep up to your lips making you stutter rather than provide adequate information. I been a Mechanic for 35 years and the only USEFUL information you gave was that the relief valve sticks due to corrosion or gum. I would STILL like to know how the dang vale works.. Guess I'll tear mine apart and find out. Too lazy to make a vid out of it ~ Sorry about your luck.
