As somebody who never beat hollow Knight and just watched lore videos instead I love the sisters of battle boss fight so much. Their patterns make it look like they're almost dancing with each other, and they create this really smooth rhythm you can follow

I regret trying to clear this for hours before watching this and realizing it's basically impossible. Amazing video and what impressive skills. Edit: after 6 months I saw my little brother trying to beat the pantheons after he cleared the game, he surprisingly got throught the first 4 quit easily and when he tried the pantheon of hallownest he killed a lot of the bosses and tried really hard to finish it but ultimately gave up, but he sparked my interest and gave me hope, I trained for 3 weeks, and I finally beated The Absolute Radiance, guess I gave up early, but sometimes I just draw my limits early, goodluck to anyone who tries to beat this game, I love hollow knight.

This is brutal. It’s every boss, in the arenas they have in ascended difficulty (but not with the double damage thank god no pun intended) and while there are rest stops, there are no check points. No. Check. Points. And it’s all an hour long. Yeah, no thank you.

If you dream nail Tiso in this fight he just says "Why?" I ask that too, why would they do that to Tiso?

When the Shade Lord kept slashing at the Radiance, I repeatedly yelled “THIS IS FOR QUIRREL!” as I repeatedly mashed the button. For Quirrel. And nobody else.

Amazing job. I don't think I'll ever be able to do this... This takes nearly an hour and the hardest parts are definitely in the last half. If I lost to NKG, Pure Vessel, or Absolute Radiance after grinding through the rest I would want to delete the game lol

Nosk in Hornet Disguise is disturbing beyond repair... also absolute Radiance looks like absolute pain...

That gateway animation when you approach the Pantheon of Hallownest, with the void current and the light and sound that blast out at you when you begin the pantheon, is absolutely spectacular. Whenever I watch that it leaves me feeling awe-struck; it really gets you to say to yourself, “This is *it.* This is the _peak.”_ That’s one of the things that I love about games like Hollow Knight: the sheer intensity and scale of where the main character ends up at the end of their journey. When you start out in this game, at the King’s Pass, you’re walking around in a dead environment and killing completely non-threatening bugs - bugs in the most figurative meaning of the word, as in like an insult to their existence - and then over time as you explore the kingdom, you slowly progress on to fight great and greater foes, until eventually you are just straight up fighting _gods,_ both the hypothetical ones and also the actual, *real* ones that should just be able to wipe your entire being from history. It starts at the very bottom, with you being a weak, worthless nobody, and climbs all the way up to the point where you can’t possibly go any higher. It makes it feel as if the endpoint of the adventure is the Pantheon of Hallownest itself. Like it isn’t just the act of _beating it_ that matters, but the privilege to stand before it and _attempt_ it. Even if you win, there’s nowhere else for you to go after that; the reward _is_ the challenge in and of itself. That’s the sensation that I get from watching the gateway open.

I like this presentation of the rush. Not an 'All bindings on, Hitless, with Old Nail, One-hand-tied-behind-my-back' kind of presentation. One where you get hit, make mistakes, but you still do it. Makes me think the victory is not as hard to get to as I previously thought.

I just beat this today... I think my heart was pounding faster than the heart beat in the NKG fight... I also got down to one health a few time during The Pure Vessel fight but after practicing against Absolute Radiance a bunch in the hall of gods I was able to beat them with a pretty good amount of health left. It feels good to become a master of the gods

So, also human beings can do the Pantheon of Hallownest. You know, this is extremely encouraging and the most useful video out there, because all these speedruns, no-hit runs and all, make it look really impossible. This makes me think... ok, it's hard but I can do it.

My favorite is the Pure Vessel. Because of how many times I've seen the Hollow Knight stabbing himself, now finally be able to show its true power without the infection of Radiance. He looks and fight with purity.

5:16 this was too funny... i've been laughing for 5 minutes.

You know, I tried. I put my mind into it and grinded until I came to Absolute Radiance. And then... I gave up. I don't know why or what happened, but I just couldn't defeat her. I grinded for longer than with Pure Vessel and Nightmare King Grimm without making any progress at all, and never even making it further than her second phase. Even looking up guides and changing my charm set didn't help. So I wasn't able to complete Pantheon of Hallownest, which sucks because Hollow Knight is probably my all time favorite game and I would have just loved to 100% complete everything, not just counting the requirements for 112%, but all the achivements as well. Which is why you should get mad credit for actually pushing through with it and beating Absolute Radiance and the Pantheon of Hallownest, good job!

...poor tiso. really wanted to see how that kind of fight would've gone.

I personally used *quick focus + shape of unn* (together, while you focus, you move 200% of normal walk speed!) to get heals that I really shouldnt be able to get, *grubberfly's elegy* (does a zelda blade beam at full health for 75% of nail damage) for bosses that fly around, -like half the bosses-, *sprintmaster* (50-75% increased walk speed) for attacks where dash end-lag would kill, and so I dont aster the i-frames off of shadow dash, and *grimmchild* -because it's the most adorable thing ever- for bosses that are too overwhelming do dodge AND attack constantly _or I swap sprintmaster and grimmchild for unbreakable strength_ *requires 11 charm notches*

Great job. 5 years later and im a "newer" HK player trying to beat P5. Was probably one hit away from getting to AbsRad and choked to PV. It's the run of Markoth, Zote, FC, and Grimm that is absolutely brutal. And the fact that you have to run the marathon of every other boss just to get there. Silksong please.

I just wanted to say that this video has helped me a lot, I haven't beaten it yet (My furthest attempt I died to this boss: 29:30) but I think i'll be able to beat it soon. First off with uummuu I didn't realize you could just hit the squids toward the boss (I thought you had to lead the explosive to the boss while it followed you) so that made that a lot easier. Also with the giant bush monster I had know idea that you could just push them back like that and now I know you can easily just pogo the guy at 29:30 so I'm confident I can at least get to the Pure Vessel in my next run. Sooooo... thanks
