Once your stomach is completely healed and so is your body, you can work out the same way anyone else does, as well as follow your own diets. It takes about 8-12 weeks to completely recover. But you can start working out around 4-6 weeks and your diet gets less restrictive around 6-8 weeks. You will just always eat small, small portions. Realistically your meal is done after about 3-4 bites of food, early on. I’m currently 7 weeks out from gastric bypass.
@@jaredleelive3665 Things are going very well for me! I’m 10 months out and 120 pounds down. I still can’t eat foods that are oily, fried, high in sugar or carbs, but I have a well rounded diet. I know what I can and cannot eat so I rarely get sick anymore. I have much more energy, and I feel like overall I have my life back. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat
