You have the best review of this product, sir. I think everyone else was recording in low cut mode along with mono or whatever, but their sound was always dull and muffled. Your video does it justice.

Thank you, great review, i tried the Dji, both versions, the Neweer, and the Rode. I ended up with the Hollylandm Just fyi, you can remove the locking connector wheel on most lavs and it will then go in far enough :) I'm using the Rode Lav..

It's a magsafe tripod mount from amazon, works well for me! Here's the link (affiliate): amzn.to/3ZqFyLS . If you don't have a magsafe compatible phone or case, any smartphone tripod mount should work fine.

@@Mikolaj_Kapusta Correct, that one is made for the magsafe attachment on apple phones. Any smartphone tripod mount should work fine though, just make sure the mount has the same type of connector as your selfie stick/tripod. Most of them should have a 1/4 inch attachment.

I can't blame you! Hard to argue with the Wireless Pro for the price. I just got the Pro myself and will be working no a comparison. The sound of the WP is much more balanced than the GOII in my initial testing. The GOII always sounded a bit harsh with very little low end to me, but the Pro sounds much more full and natural so it will be a fun comparison!

Yes! You can use a transmitter by itself and record internally and then sync your audio to your video in post (or just upload the audio file to your computer if you are not recording video).

I am working on that video this week! In terms of wireless kits at the $300 price point, the Lark Max is still my favorite. But without considering budget, the Wireless Pro does have a slightly more balanced/natural sound from the built in mic, plus the 32-bit float internal recording. I think the Wireless Pro is going to be my top pick in terms of overall sound and what you get for the price. I do still like the Lark Max receiver menu system much better than Rode - it's just easier to use and I wish Rode could implement something like that!

Hi! If you connect the receiver via USB to your computer, it should show up as an audio input when you select the recording device in audacity. Under the Audio Setup button, select Recording Device and then look for "Wireless Microphone Rx". That is how it shows up for me.
