Al j.. I hope for one second you don't think its a beautiful place aswel? The place is and was ALWAYS shit hole!!! Full of fake pissed up hardmen beating up kids every weekend! Don't even get me started on the huge amount of drug dealings going on in and around Holmfirth! Place is a shit hole!!

I may be coming to the town next year and believe that there is a monument to the show that made the town so famous,so if anyone could tell me where it is I would like to pay my respects to all those that gave so much enjoyment to so many people ,but are now no longer with us.

Nice video and its a great village, so many places to eat and drink isnt there. We stay over in an old converted barn in the village ( thebarnatholmfirth.co.uk ), as its such a good place to go walking from. Lovely film :)

When I see these old English towns if you come to the original 13 colonies here on the east coast of the United States the architecture is identical, they could film a British show here and nobody would be any the wiser, some areas here date back to the 1600's
