How do I contact you?? Wanting to send you my hx35 off my 96 12v for yall to machine and assemble a 60mm compressor and 64mm turbine. Will need assistance on choosing what size exhaust housing would be best for application. Thank you!

Do you think through HY35 could benefit from a 6 mm billet compressor? I was worried that the turbine would be too small to see a real diffrrence.

Do you think the hx40 with a 67mm billet wheel would make my truck lag bad? i have 150hp injectors and some other fuel mods. just need some answers if possible. and would it be a loud turbo? like turbo whistle

If i added the wicked wheel 2 to my stock he351cw would i need head studs, sorry if this is a dumb question. And can I keep my factory turbine wheel?

Those turbne wheels seem quite open, flat bladed so to speak, compared to some that are quite cupped ? How does that difference affect things ? Love the videos. Very informative.

The DSM guys when they first started trying these were making 500 with a dinky .55 bullseye power exhaust housing that bolted to the factory cast exhaust manifold , the turbine flows great even in small housings.

I had a Holset HY35w on my srt4 and I want more power and better flow at high rpm so , do yo have any compresor wheel for my turbo just to plug and play to have some gains over the cast wheel?, have a nice day.

I have a 6.5 GM Diesel, What would you have to do to make an HX40 spool up fast but push air like the HX40? Also can Ball Bearings installed on these China Turbos?

You need to choose an appropriate size turbine housing to have an efficient spooling hx40. I don't do aftermarket ball bearing turbos, I just repair oem ones and convert some turbos to use oem ballbearing cartridges because of the reliability of the oem Garrett turbos

can i use this on an n54 bmw , does this come with a T4 housing? if so what kind of horsepower i can expect?

This answer allll the questions awesome! Ill be sending in my core within the next few days. So you guys can machine the Holset t3 twin scroll housing. Austin can you guys remove the external waste gate contraption as well? Maybe do a light port job even. I believe ill go with a 62mm unless you have a 64mm option i thought yall use to offer that one. Should spool sub 5k 20gramms lighter then the cast 60mm wheel?! Oh yes this will definetly work great with a 2.0

+superboogen we had a 64 x90 x94 but the creater didn't want other people to have it so we can't get more. I may have some still. I could create a similar wheel but I haven't decided to. I want to limit to 3 options. There are more options but these are the most ideal. Ironically the 62 mm wheel is the heaviest.

+Turbo Lab America that's so odd lol. these holset turbos are starting to become pppular keep up the good work. please do hold on to one of those wheels :D i could just send a deposit. The core ill send in is a 60mm hx40 with internal gate t3...ideal a t4 twin scroll would be nice, difficult to source you say? 3months to have one made is a lil on the long side. Alll in all which ever combination supports 750 hp full tilt will be ideal...60mm may be a bit small

I stock the parts. The turbine housings can be machined. The wastegate arm can be welded shut but it's best to weld the arm in the closed position. There are some twin scroll housings that are non wastegates but they maybe hard to find. The t3 16 cm is non wastegated

+Turbo Lab America I just put my holset in the mail, its on the way to you guys. If you can source a t4 twin scroll housing and machine it. that would be ideal. Im hopping your guys can get the turbo back to be by June, so it can be ready for the track soon after. i put a note in the box requesting for a 64 combination if possible. If the 64 wheel stash is exhausted ill just go with one of your 62mm options. If for ease and quick turn around you guys may keep the core and just send the turbo out. Thanks

Whats the cons if you put the 67mm comp wheel with the 64x76 turbine wheel?

Huge amounts of backpressure once you start to using all the 67mm of the compressor. (Getting close to 900hp on gas or 700hp on diesel)

Yes. The he300vg has 2 piston rings on the collar and the turbine .

What size turbo would you recommend for a rear mounted setup for a V6 engine. With a Horsepower goal of 400whp. RPM range of the motor would be 2500rpm to a maximum of 5500rpm. Would like to have full spool up by around 2500rpm.

+Adam Clark 60mm x 86 compressor and 64 x 76 would be perfect. It's good for 600 plus hp but it abetted to have the hx40 over the hx35 so the turbo won't choke the engine at higher rpm being that it's a 6 cylinder.

+Turbo Lab America Austin i did want to mention the maximum HP goal is 400 crankshaft horsepower and maximum engine RPM will be 5500 max. and it will be mid mounted/rear mounted.

+Adam Clark probably go with a 60x86 hx40 compressor and 64 X 76 turbine and .82 turbine housing. If you go with a turbo too small the engine will produce a lot of heat. You probably just need 12 psi for that hp level

+John Merchant with a core we build the turbo for 650$ as a service, since you bought the kit it would be 595. Or I can build you a turbo for 750 as a new unit

I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 5.9 liter cummins diesel (stock).I put on after market intercooler and went to a 3.5 inch bent elbow and inlet tubes.I get 27mpg on the highway and replaced this and that.I purchased the truck with 200,000 miles on it.I plan on purchasing a 27ft camper trailor in the future.I figure I better replace the turbo comming in the near future.My question to you is how much is tubos with that billet wheel? I am a ex-marine that suffered a stroke so I am going to hit the road and see the country.Where are you located at?I might drop in and say hello.Thanks PS what is your take on the VGT turbo?By the time you get turbo,wiring harness,and install is it really worth it?

+James Smith it sounds like you may have an interesting story. Thank you for your service. We do the service for these turbos for 650$ to convert a core turbo to an upgraded compressor wheel and upgraded turbine wheel. I also have new turbine housings available that I can use for this build. we usually have some cores that we can use if you want to do a core charge or just buy a turbo.

Send me your address and what is your take.With what I have(after market intercooler,alum,radiator,fluid dampner,3.5 inch bent elbow and inlet and out let tubes and afe air filter) I say truck puts out 335 hp and 650 lbs torque. I would like your input and ps my injectors where replaced (stock).Thanks again
