I love your reactions to this! You still have not got close to what is going to happen in this story, it is vast and epic. You are right it is rich, layered, unique and not tropey. Battle Beast was just introduced. You are going to be blown away once the reveals start happening and bigger and better characters turn up! The best comic book story ever told. DC and Marvel do not have anything close to this.
@@petrov.mp4, yeah, but the Invincible unvierse has its own version of Spawn, who had similar adventures to the Spawn universe's Spawn, but not exactly.
SAME, when I saw that I was like "OHHH SHIIIT" he's about to go on a KILLING SPREE, but he didn't. I'm sad that that didn't happened. Would've been great and we would see how powerful he's getting and maybe at the end will see a fight between him and his father.
@@D3DS3C, yeah, I would’ve loved seeing that. But it’s way too unfortunate he got put up against Battle Beast of all people... if invincible/Omni-man is Superman, then battle beast is Doomsday. No way in hell that he’s beating him.
You know what's funny the agency is trying to find a way to kill Omni Man and so far haven't found a way yet. Just Call Battle Beast lol he'll do it for the sport.
That intro to battle beast was one of the best intros to a character I've ever seen. I've never seen a character get introduced as a no name throwaway goon to only reveal he was like the strongest being on the planet by just casually whooping ass.
It was a nice introduction in both show and comics have what you thought was some random throw away thug that goes on to destroy everyone that fights against him making you want to know more.
If there was any doubts before about Robot being human. This episode shows his Humanity when Monster Girl is taken out of commission. I don’t think she’s dead.
@@SpiralSine6 people can make foolish decisions when under stress. So I wouldn’t put it past Robot to try and clone someone he cares for even if his equipment is untested despite help from the Mauler brothers.
Kept having weird issues with Atom Eve & parents scene which we LOVED but unfortunately had to axe it on this edit. Either way..I know most people are here for the finale moments lol
We just not touching the weird chemistry between robot and monster girl, the guy is clearly torn up by her getting totally rocked. like I know she’s 24 (24? Or 26?) but it’s odd, right? I guess robot is most likely younger than her but we’re getting into some *interesting* territory.
Titan wants to become a better Kingpin, one who can run the streets without getting innocent people hurt or involved. No matter what, the streets will always be the same or worse if no one is in charge. Also Titan had to leave, they already won the fight and the government was on their way, as a criminal honestly theres nothing more he could do. The fight also took out other villains that could cause issues in the same city. Titan wanted to gather all the baddies in one place and STOP them out at the same time
I feel like “Not a guaranteed victory” is way too optimistic for them... If their original rate for a win is a 1%, adding Omniman would just make it a 2%. In other words, barely anything will change by adding Omniman in to the mix.
I can't believe how good this series has been. Considering what I heard about the comic, it's just stellar how this series has been even better than I thought it would be
I'm just a bit worried about how condensed it is. I get it, it's a long ass comic serie but I hope they won't cut too much. There's a ton of good storylines in there.
@@koreycrawford4119 I wouldn't attack u for it but why the comparison? Like u can enjoy both lmao. It's like when someone goes on a marvel video or dc video to say either one is better out of nowhere like how did tfatws got involved in this?
@@shadowx8145 because One those are the main superhero shows out. I said I love the show didn’t I lol. Also If I said nothing about show some one in the comment section would be like bUt wAt aBoUT TfAtWS?? Trust me I don’t want to compare them.
Titan didn't betray Mark, he didn't know that was going to happen. He even says at the end that he was telling him the truth and that he was going to try and make the city better for people.
Battle Beast is exactly that. He absolutely obliterated `Vince and the other heroes that showed up pretty easily. That was brutal. Serious ass whoopin.
To appreciate just how strong Battle Beast is, in the comics BB is easily in the top 4 strongest characters in the series, and is arguably the 2nd strongest individual. Mark was basically a level 2-3 rpg accidentally stumbling upon some secret/final boss with BB.
I love the moment where Rex says "you guys just messed up" it shows that despite his annoying arrogance, he's still a hero and doesn't like seeing people hurt. Really glad they added that.
i thought that goon was some dude with a lions head until he starts dropping heroes left and right. Almost reminded me of that random storm trooper who kicked finns ass.
While the Amazon video plays, you literally can scroll to the side of it and it will pull up the voice actors in the scene, as well as trivia specific to that scene. It’s in both the web and mobile players. The Boys had a lot of trivia in the episodes at different time stamps.
Michael Dorn as Battle Beast is perfect. This episode is my favorite so far. I also love the little detail of him fixing his spelling in the text lol. 😎
Such a GREAT reaction! Love love love. The whole time you guys were getting hype at the beginning of the episode, liking the Rock Dad, when the fight was starting wanting Mark to get home to Amber, I was like...wait for it... waaait for it...*there* it is!! But how about Nolan just hovering over the fight and watching Mark get whooped right up to the edge of death? Debbie is going to lose her sh%! when Mark wakes up and tells her.
This is also my favorite episode so far and for the same reasons. I loved the post discussion you both had. I feel like Omni Man called the Guardians hoping that they would all die in that battle.
@@relic5752 I’m pretty sure he didn’t plan that. He needed to get Machine Head out of the picture, Machine Head fought back, but in the end he was still able to take the role of King Pin whether or not others got hurt.
"How is he still alive?" Yeah good questions especially if you rupture the abdominal aorta you have seconds to minutes, at best. And only minutes with secondary arteries in that area (the renal artery comes to mind).
i jus started yesterday and binged it. Some of the elements of the show is cliche but it was originally made in 2003 so i guess it makes sense lol but it’s not *all* cliche, some of the characters and definitely the action is well written and choreographed i can’t wait for ep 6, glad my expectations were wrong about the show cuz i’m enjoying it a lot
I'm glad you gave it a go, it is just a love letter to all the things that came before without the restrictions of a corporate publisher. You can't subvert a cliché if there are no clichés to subvert!
I’ve seen people hella hyping up Battle Beast in other comments, and people saying Omni man would’ve gotten his ass beat to if he went down to fight. So if Omni man is like the Superman, that make Battlebeast like the level of like Darkseid, Thanos, or Doomsday in this world?
When that lion or whatever it was. He was going to punch Mark to chest so I waited for Omni-man to come but he didn't come and the lion almost killed Mark I really didn't expect it was quite shocking for me.
I marked out on this episode when the principle Mr Winslow showed up. Pressed pause to x-ray the scene actors and behold, it's Reginald VelJohnson himself.
Its truly an amazing thing. If Battle Beast wasnt there( The giant Tiger dude), Mark woulda actually killed the other goons in all honesty but Battle Beast shut him down which is crazy to think that in that moment Mark was probably going all out due to his rage but this one guy set up as a goon wiped him in one clean swoop. Then proceeds to practically shut down the defenders of the globe like its nothing. Insane in all honesty.
the cast of this was so fire. imagine if they actually played their characters in the live adaptation. alot of the walking dead cast plays the guardians from the pilot. and mark hamill played the guy who makes superhero costumes.
When there's a character on screen and you want to know who their actor is it'll tell you on the hud whenever you interact with the screen like pausing or moving your mouse around the screen
Omni man didn‘t interfere because he couldn‘t. Battle Beast is one of the strongest beings in this universe, he would have been whooped 😄 It‘s amazing that they introduced him as a side character mercenary ^^
I was eating and screaming at the tv during this episode I don't understand how Nolan just left Mark like that 😭😭 the promo for this weeks episode looks insane too!
Omni-Man watching Mark getting his ass kick almost near death. Reminds me when Goku stood there and let Babidi henchmen take Gohan powers. I was like "Omni-Man help!" Just like I was "Goku dont stand there, help!"
Battle beast is voiced by Star Trek actor Michael Dorn, you know as Worf. Also Dorn voiced DCAU's Kalibak, a fourth world villain, designed by Jack Kirby, Like Kalibak, his armor resembles Jack Kirby's Technological art and wields a club
So the cast sidebar thing only shows up when a certain character is on screen during the show. It’ll change whenever someone new or different pops up on screen
Tell you: this is how I want dc shows to be like. This show brings realism, breaks hero stereotypes, and gives us a actual story that doesn’t feel one dimensional. I really hope they do more shows like this that actually make me want to watch every season instead of stopping at season one.
