Thank you! Although it takes longer to release new videos, I want my viewers to be able to understand what's happening and possibly apply that knowledge elsewhere, too. Many of the underlying mechanics are not explained well in the game or wiki, if at all.
I always liked forming all of the alt history nations but this one always bugged me, took too damn long. But you my friend have done in June 1937?!?! That is absolutley insance. Kudos to you.
Your vids are second to none! Leave me speechless and feeling incompetent every time.. *LOL* Thank you so much for your effort - can't emphasis that enough! I highly appreciate your editing also - not to mention the humor of yours.. ;-) Well, enough sweet talking for now - how about a world conquest soon? Bank up that PP while you have "sturmfrei" or beeing a "Strohwitwer" (sorry, German jokes for having no adult at home or the wife on vacation...) for that and blow us away again... best regards from Hanover brother! 🙂
Thank you! I actually have a strategy for a world conquest speedrun ready to go, but it takes about 8 hours. I'm in talks with my wife to have some time next week to grind on it, but since it will most likely take several attempts, I won't promise anything just yet =) I have at least two more recorded runs ready for editing.
Could you make a speedrun of Byzantium as Greece(that is, not just forming the tag, but coring everything that you can core with decisions from the last focus in that tree)? bitt3rsteel made a video on it but i wanna see just how far it can be optimized
Unfortunately the exploit to start and stop war justifications to increase world tension seems to have been fixed. So most of this speed-run tactic doesn't work anymore, but the overall concept certainly still seems to apply.
No, just the default template. I won't go into more detail, unless it's relevant to the strategy. There are some really good RU-vidrs out there who explain everything about what templates work best and how to manage army, navy and air force. I don't think that I can add much to that. I focus mostly on the advanced mechanics, assuming that most viewers have already a decent understanding of the game.
Hi, I did exactly the same and all the way to the 13:10 in the video. The civil war ended but the German reich and Czech signed a white peace and leaving Brandenburg still to the Nazis. There’s no peace conference or anything and Luxembourg is not mine, also the civil war hasn’t finished so I can’t go to the next focus tree. Could u please explain to me what’s going on?
It's fun, isn't it? Ruined plenty of my runs and I warn about that potentially happening in the video. I don't have hard evidence, only anecdotal from my runs: Make sure that you're the one pushing Nazi Germany below the surrender limit, not the Czechs. It may also possibly involve the length of the war (below or above 7 day minimum war time). But I can't say for certain what exactly the reasons are for this to happen, unfortunately.
@@m3an hey thanks for the advise. I just figured it out and this works. In order to get the most surrender limit of Nazis. U have to keep some troops around Berlin before turn to military junta. So that the Allie’s don’t take Berlin before you do. And quickly get Berlin before Italy joins axis. I’ve tried two times and that works.
I tried many times to replicate the process, but it seems the peace con of the 1st war always have some issues, I mean some defeated countries are not included, most of the time Czch won't be included (sometimes even continue fighting in an sepreated war...) and sometimes together with Yugo...
You need to restart the whole campaign. Reloading before the event fires does never change the outcome. If you indeed restart each time from scratch, keep trying. Your odds are 50/50 so you'll get it eventually, even on unlucky days.
the most scuffed thing about Victoria louise is that, UK need to be democratic I guess, I tried do a speedrun in mp game, and UK was non-allign, the last needed decision didn't even appear ..
This is quite incredible. It's too bad the tension spiking was fixed after NSB but oh well. I've always wanted to form the HRE but considering it's harder than almost all the other formables in the game that actually have achievements for them, it'll probably be after I've finished the last achievements I've got for now. One day......
I've tried 4 runs of this, all failed to rng. Either Greece would go democratic so I couldn't make a faction with them or USA would go with Alf and join The Allies after I capitulated Italy.
What about a Road to 56 Nicaragua viceroyalty of New Spain speedrun(i hope that i remember correctly which central American country had that huge focus tree) in which you don't just kill all of central America except panama, Cuba Haiti and dominic and mexico but in which you get the monarchy back in Spain by conquering them(which is part of the focus tree) and you get all of viceroyalty of New Spain lands in USA(which is also a part of focus tree) it isn't that hard considering you get cores everywhere, even a beginner(which is me with my 100 hours:D) but the thing is it takes too long when you don't cheese. You have to kill america which means fighting allies which will cause not having naval supremacy to be able to kill Spain.
@@m3an Road to 56 is essentially vanilla, it uses vanilla focus trees in every nation who has a great focus tree and it changes italy and czechoslavakia focus trees and adds austria nicaragua denmark belgium and a handful of other nations focus trees, it doesnt changes research at all but adds a few tweaks to guns so that you can use army experience to upgrade them but if you arent going to play modded its your choice
@@bryancomlor1435 exploit got removed. You deleted your navy as UK, warned Argentina via naval treateas to get a war on the us and Argentina in early 1936. (Removed) Go for fascist civil war after annexing the us and annex all your puppets via the war. Now you can skip like 10 focuses and you would be able to form the imperial fed without USA or EU in 1936. The steps after I'm to lazy to explain
@@mac1ek645 Hmm. Check your DLCs. The Balkan guarantees should be there from day-1 if you have Battle for the Bosporus. FRA, CZE and ROM should guarantee YUG from day-1. If not there's something wrong on your end, like deactivated DLCs for example.
That probably would not help with the speedrun anyway: While there are some Nazi focuses that help forming the HRE (like Anschluss oder Fate of Czechoslovakia) they require too many days to complete
