@@clausroquefort9545 In your opinion, by how much should one usually overshoot a somewhat distant target after ranging them? Or is there some kind of table detailing trajectories I'm not privy to? I know they always did overshoot by a certain margin in for example WW2 as hitting wheels, tracks and dirt consistently, while impressive due to perfect on the spot ranging is more what you'd want of artillery and such, not a high velocity anti tank shell. I struggle a bit in RB at times, I have a pretty shit setup, but the one thing that truly gets me is the damn ranging in a split second, while on a PS4 which does not have keybindings for that unless you find some weird solutions that I really don't know if improves my game at all due to the extra fiddling etc. I play on PC as well, but as I said my setup sucks ATM so the PS4 is decent enough to allow me a 1:1 k/d ratio against PC players and about the same in air RB while also feeling kind of more natural, although I can't do manoeuvres or control my plane the same way as on the PC where more keybindings allow for more detailed control and sharper turns etc. Sorry for the wall of text, I'm just used to having to defend/justify playing WT on my PS4 instead of my PC a lot, kind of a reflex by this point.

@@ETAlnes concerning platforms, i can only advise you to use the pc. concerning aiming, I usually shoot 100-200m high when aiming at more than a kilometer to compensate for underestimating the shot and to prevent throwing up a tiny smokescreen for my target. at less than 800m, i overshoot by no more than 50m. what works best for you depens on upon your personal skill and your favourite mistakes.

@Eldritch Construct in my first game in it is shot down a Dornier 217. I also enjoy the fact that it can pen quite a lot of tanks that are a rank or two above it
