The comment was funny but accurate indeed. Evander knows first hand cuz mike actually did land good shots in the first fight but they were sporatic and holyfield had a great chin in those days walked right through. Ppl might overlook that part in favor of his offense that night but mike was definately landing some.
Yeah when Mike gives him back his piece of ear he ate he'll be on the same level as this man. Hey Mike if Jake Paul drops out I'm your huckleberry I use my real name
I've noticed that Mike punches with his entire body weight behind his fist. That kind of strike is absolutely devastating when executed with precision. Basically, Mike punches with the same kind of bio-mechanics that I was taught by my martial arts instructors. He's using sound body movements that are designed to end fights as quickly as possible. I'm betting on Mike!
@@rasteenjackson7042Because he beat Mike Tyson TWICE... He's seen Jake Paul box and is simply giving Jake advice... How many other people can say that they beat Mike twice ⁉️ 😂 😂
@@bryantav6843 Not the fights I remember but even if he was a dirty fighter in his younger years he still makes a good impression on me whenever he speaks today and he is a legend. Do you have a specific fight in mind?
@@sanny-sg8fp him vs Tyson, punched Tyson in the balls and then would head butt him repeatedly. Tyson was bleeding early into the fight and cut open by this. Not even being punched
@jonnyboy5357 Backing up fighters knock people out? Ok. I'm sure it has happened, I would love to see video examples of those kos. Hmmm, during round 9 against Usyk, perhaps Fury should have gone for that move? He'd be a champion today.
@@dappakhan9812 He made it all 12 against JT when he was literally a shadow of his shadow lmao. Real Deal fought Big George on his comeback when he weighed 208 lbs and fought George who weighed like 260lbs. Sit down little boy.
@@deeward5572 diabetes will knock him out. He clearly has no clue about anything athletic. But then again trolls basically sit under a bridge or on the internet all day so not really his fault.
A true experienced fighter, who has been a champion, and fought Tyson himself, predicts the fight. Probably the most credible and persuasive opinion thus far on the internet.
he has boxing skills though. I dont like the Paul's at all. But cant discount Jakes skills. Yeah his fights have seemed like shit shows, but he can box. That being said, motherfucker aint no Mike Tyson. 😂 I dont care if he's almost 60, Mike still has that dog in him. He just learned how to tame it. Im rooting for Mike. @@HaHaroni
He was TKOd by McBride nearly 20 years ago in his last real fight… some of you people are just ridiculous. It’s like you cannot disconnect Mike Tyson 1988 from your analysis of this event. This Mike is nearly 60, he isn’t the monster he was. If he doesn’t catch JP inside of 1 or 2 rounds he will probably get KOd. Boxing requires a whole lot of stamina, Mike is at a tremendous disadvantage here against a much younger man who is also powerful.
The Mike the end of his career was on drugs and not training . He's taking this serious and also McBride would Knock Paul out cold if he was the age he faught Mike. Mike is not ur usual 58 yr old just look at his training clips it's crazy how fast and powerful he still is.
FACTS . I met Mike in Vegas years ago. Got a signed glove and picture at a meet and greet . He's really a different person now . Was such a class act .
You have to first understand WHY Tyson swore and ranted in interviews. First is upbringing;his mother was a prostitute who brutally beat him, and"worked"out of their apartment,as a dozen men were in and out of their apartment daily!! His dad was a pimp down in North Carolina, and after Cus Da'Mato took him in,after Bobby Stewart and Teddy Atlas set up a meeting between the two,at a juvenile detention facility, after eventually becoming Mikes legal guardian and moving him into his Catskill house,he told Mike(noting his 5'6" stature at 13 years old):"I wish YOU had a physique like Ken Norton and Mike Weaver;THOSE guys intimidated their opponent(with their height and build)before the bout even STARTED!!" Mike said he went upstairs to his bedroom and CRIED all night, realizing he disappointed his beloved mentor with his meager size, and decided THAT night, that HE would be THE most intimidating boxer the world would EVER know!! So,all his subsequent public actions/interviews were expressly intended TO intimidate people. 😮
He is a Christian and a man of God, so he’s respectful and knows better. Def class act. Looks like they did this quick interview in his church parking lot too 😂
@@akili71They must have been briefed to just dance around the ring, no hard blows until the fight (rounds) ends. Then, the fight will be declared a draw.😂

Tyson's giving away lots of years ... and I know Tyson's in pretty good shape for his age, but it's still 20+ years he's giving away. I do hope Tyson can do it and take down that Jake Paul.
@@inigomulaisho2809 in 1990 he was 23/24 so he could have regained his stamina if he had a bit more discipline and a bit less pride but that’s always the case with young rich champions
My father was a boxing fanatic who watched every fight he could. I am Hispanic and as you can imagine he leaned heavily towards Latin boxers. Evander was the first black boxer I ever heard my father talk about with admiration and respect. I miss watching boxing with my dad and miss watching Holyfield fight. His skills were unmatched ❤
Funny thing about Evander is he has like 12 kids and I used to go to the church he attended on the Southside of Atlanta and his kids would be lined up down the front row looking just like him with that pointed beak nose like an eagle😅he diffinantly was a Warrior and the only who could frustrate Mike to the point of Mike bightibg his ear 😂 those were the days .I miss boxing back in those days man smh
Your father was a bigot . Just because he was Latino doesn't excuse his bigotry towards brown skin fighters .Ali,Leonard,,Hagler,Hearn,Foreman,Roy Jones,Joe Louis,Hurricane Carter, Sugar Ray Robinson ...and the list of great brown skin fighters .Your dad was a bigot and taught you to be prejudice and not acknowledge great fighters no matter what skin color .
Two of the legends of boxing, one talking about the other. Respect to both. Glad to see Evander doing good! That’s ultimately what matters. I tell the same thing to Mike, please stay healthy.
Interesting hearing this brother talk.. a few years back, his speech was sounding slurred, and incoherent. He sounds much more coherent now. Happy for the brother. 👍🏾
George Foreman , Lennox Lewis , Evander Holyfield , Spinks , Busta Douglas , Riddick Bowe , Larry Holmes , Tommy Morrison , and Mike Tyson all took turns with the Heavy Weight Champion belt so top-notch fighters of the nineties !
His fight style isn't going to change. Mike isn't going to use the Philly shell or do the Ali shuffle. His style is still gonna be constant forward movement with some bobbing and weaving.
@@wildcalcatsDouglas was knocked out by Lou saverese. Who Tyson knocked out in seconds. Douglas had a lucky night. Can happen to anyone. Spinks beat Ali.... Do you think spinks is a better fighter lol
@@alexanderwilliamson7431 Stop putting words in my mouth B. All i said was that Buster Douglas knew how to stop Tyson. Did he not knock Tyson out??? Lucky or not, a knockout is a knockout.
I don't think anyone ate as many Tyson hooks as Holyfield and he stayed on his feet. If Joke Paul tries to smother Mike, he's going to catch a few hard body hooks followed by a hook to the head. Mike's lead hook is legendary, and that's what he used to start his combos.
@primesuspect8198 Nope. Most of those were an equal colliding of their heads. Tyson even caused some of those by rushing in. Watch it again. Holyfield was just better

You’re still GREAT Champ! I’ve watched you coming up as a “Cruiser Weight”, then jumping into Heavyweight. You were a joy & a blessing to watch and you brought much needed class to the sport. Thank you so very much for that privilege!!!!
@bruhmoment948 🤣 fighting dirty. Mate, it's called dirty boxing for a reason. Every gym teaches certain tactics. Some boxers are just better than others at implementing them. Holyfield bullied the bully, and it worked well.
One of the best to ever lace up the gloves Evander Holyfield. As great as his accolades are still very underrated. He really beat Tyson up , twice, when Mike was still in his prime. Absolute wars with much bigger men his entire career. At a lighter weight he was unbeatable . He always stepped up to higher competition. So happy to see he’s still got his wits about him. After all those wars it’s a miracle really. Would love to see more of him on mainstream he’s got a lot to give the sport I believe…
This is great advice..... especially when evander kept pushing Mike backwards in that fight....but evander was a dirty fighter in those fights. No hate....but damn
@@gregpettis1113 very true. especially the head butts frustrated With that being said No excuses Evander had a smart game plan and it worked. You're definitely right on that
Yeah you right because I that particular fight Mine was slowly breaking him down that's why he kept holding Mike for dear life when the clock was winding down,Mike was working him good but he he started the head butting and holding Mike ,he got frustrated and bit that ear because he was frustrated from the holding as well,he was disqualified which is an automatic loss for him no one is mentioning that but it is what it is .A win is a win a loss is a loss
This man never looks any older, still looks the same as when he was an active fighter...less the moustache. One of my favourite all-time heavyweights, the Real Deal. 💙
I know he beat Tyson twice. But Tyson is more dangerous in a close brawl. Tyson bobs back and forth at close range throwing his hooks. I appreciate what your doing by giving a false hope to jake
Holyfield is talking about smothering Tyson. If you don't give Tyson room to come off his heels and use his legs to thrust up and forward, you've defined the cobra. No leverage, no power.
