On June 9th 1998 I began my life long obsession to own and collect an arcade game. Now, 22 years later I still enjoy the hobby and wanted to make a quick tour and answer a couple of questions I get about collecting arcade and pinball games. Welcome to my home arcade, Retro Anxiety!

If or when I make an arcade room you have 4 of the cabs that are top of my list. Double dragon Street fighter 2 Turtles Robocop Those games are all important parts of my childhood. Well done I'm really happy for you and it's great we share the same passion.

That TMNT machine is awesome. I didn't know they all came on the same one: Simpsons, Michael Jackson, Guantlet... I think I might need to find one of those machines.

Very cool, man. I’m more of a dedicated cabinet type person. I’m not a fan of the “Netflix” feel to cabs where there is so many choices you can’t decide what to play. I like to walk up to a cab knowing I’m going to play that game. But, I understand why people do it. I love real pinball machines as well. TMNT is my all time favorite dedicated cabinet from my childhood. My wife and I don’t have a lot of room, but I purchased three A1up cabs (TMNT, NBA Jam, SF2) and put them in our office. They are great for what they are, I think, for space and cost. I did do some basic upgrades on the controls like heavier springs in Jam and TMNT and Happ sticks in SF2. I was able to get TMNT ($125) and SF2 ($50) for really cheap at wal mart a couple months ago. I was pretty excited. Good and informative video.
