IN this video we look how to set up a Smart Life wi-fi light bulb. This is good for any light bulb not just the LEDLite Smart Wi-Fi RGBW GU10 that you see me install.

all right so we're going to take a quick
look
how to set up a wi-fi bulb with the
smart life
app and it can be any bulb any color
the process is the same i'm just using a
gu10 color bulb because that's what
suits me in my installation but it could
be whatever you have
so the first thing we need to do is get
the app onto our phone so either search
it up on the app store
or follow the qr code on the
instructions
so once downloaded open the app follow
the prompts to register
and then it'll take you to a home screen
as you can see i've got a few things set
up already
where you'll probably have nothing in
there once registered to add your light
bulb
we hit the blue plus on the top
right hand of your screen this will take
you to
all the devices that you can set up hit
the lighting tab
on the left of the screen and we're
setting up a wi-fi light bulb
so no matter what your light bulb looks
like it is light source brackets
wi-fi that you need to select ble stands
for bluetooth
if you're doing a bluetooth light bulb
then that'll be it obviously zigbee
it would be that one it's light source
bracket wi-fi
even though my light bulb that i'm
installing doesn't look like the picture
that the picture is just an icon it's
irrelevant
we now need to move to the bulb so with
the bolt in the light fitting we now
need to turn it
on then off then on then off then on
then off so you turn it off three times
and on four times on off on off on
off on the ball then should be flashing
rapidly just like this one then once
your bulb is
flashing rapidly check the box to
confirm the lights
blinking rapidly and hit next it'll take
you
to your wi-fi select your home wi-fi
and then it'll go to this little
countdown where it's adding device
so it'll search for a little while once
it's searched the magnifying glass will
turn to a cloud
and then shortly after that it'll tell
you it's added
so once it's found your bulb and
registered it within the app
it prompts you to change the name of the
bulb so you might want to change this to
the kitchen light leaving room light
this is going in my shed so it's one of
six so i'm going to call it shed
l1 and there you have that's your bulb
added
you can now go into the app and change
all the settings
color brightness warm tone
etc to get voice control on alexa
just do an alexa discover devices and it
should add it on
