There is a massive difference between an impact driver and combi-drill - they are different tools so can't really be compared. Torque does not equal speed
That is no load speed. As soon as the impact driver gets any resistance the hammer and anvil start to engage and disengage, this will slow the rotational speed. An analogy would be hitting a spanner with hammer to tighten/loosen a stubborn bolt, between each impact nothing is rotating. So an impact driver will always be slower than a combi drill under load.
Great little review. Im wondering how often you clean out the filter? I know this could sound like how long's a piece of string but with your everyday work use. Just trying to get an idea before i buy.
Replaced an elderly Bosch mains table saw with the GTS18V 216, just a brilliant saw, only minor gripe is the mitre fence, have replaced it with a UJK Precision Mitre Gauge Fence with flip stop.
@@MPCpropertydevelopments Got mine cheap secondhand off an auction site, new it's £125, could find a similar model cheaper, but I do miss the second mitre scale like you have on the Rutlands version, not essential just something I've got use from having it on my Bosch mitre saw,to be honest I wonder how many peeps use the 2nd scale with a table saw or router table.
@@amentet Pro Core 8 Ah,as I can use them in other tools, whereas 12Ah is too unwieldy & heavy in circular saw, etc. 12Ah weighs 1.35kg compared to 995grams for 8Ah. But, Bosch is releasing this month a new Pro Core 8Ah+ battery weighing 1kg & offering more run time.
Have a like, sir! I just realised this as I was looking for a replacement battery for my old 10.8V drill. And as per usual I want to go to an RU-vid to verify these things. And you did it in less than a minute.
check out my other videos that cover the wiring..ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0gXcYkORun0.html for example... this one was really about the back box....
Don't be fooled folks, after these have been on for a couple of years the only way to demount the little beggars is CUT THEM OFF ! Never use these again EVER !
wow thank you so much , i had to ask a lodger to leave as she wouldn't pay the rent and i knew i had the old lock that i changed several years ago complete with three keys . well done sir
I'd be curious to know if you experience the same, or similar, amount of power loss due to using the SDS-Max to SDS-Plus adapter...The same way you see power losses with adapters or extensions with Impact Guns (for tests on those, check out the Torque Test channel).
Gosh no, you’d just unscrew it from the inside and remove the handle. Unscrew the locking cam then you need to fiddle to turn the lock enough to get it out.
Just a heads up, MAKE SURE to find out how the seller measures the distances. When I tried ordering the lock on amzn, I noticed that the specific seller measured it from the middle of the screw-hole to the edge, so in your example the correct lock would have been 45, 55. Very helpful 2 mins otherwise, thanks a lot!
