Love your mom's new hair!!! To go with her new house. I'm 71 and I have to move sometime before Halloween. I lost all of my stuff in a fire where I was renting. Luckily, I had the majority of my furniture, kitchen stuff, etc. in storage in Arizona. I haven't decided where to move yet. My kids, I have 6, have been bugging me to move back to the southwest. Being a dedicated thrifter, I have replaced clothes but not much else. I'm at a crossroads and watching you two has made me kind of want to go back to Palm Springs, CA where I used to live and where my oldest daughter (50!!) lives now. Like you guys, she was my thrifting, yard sale partner in crime. Seeing how you two look so happy to be closer has given me food for thought. Sorry this is so long, but I wanted you to know that you inspire a lot more than just thrifting ideas. Good luck on the move and...let the men do all the heavy lifting!! ❤❤❤

Sheila, we moved last year and hired movers ie: young strong men through UHaul. Thank goodness my friend told us about it since we are 60 some year olds, I refused to move furniture. I packed boxes and movers carried and packed it all in the truck for us. It was a lifesaver and very inexpensive. Best of luck with your move. I love seeing you and Selena shopping together!

That trailer is an Aladdin, made in Oregon! That one appears to be early/mid 60s --- you can tell Aladdins by their large "forehead" and most of them have an Aladdin's Lamp cutout in the cabinetry.

How wonderful for both of you to be living near each other! We moved from our hometown area to be near our kids and grands just a few years ago. It's sweet to be nearby, rather than driving four and a half to five hours for a visit! Nearing seventy one in just a few short weeks, I'm grateful not to face downsizing our space by half the square footage at this age, as each year seems to make some things harder for us to manage! Congrats on selling your house, Sheila, as well as finding your future home! Neither task is necessarily easy, at least not in our experience. I'm thrilled for you, too, Selena, having your mom and dad nearby; it's a good thing you'll all enjoy!💖 Loved this thrifting adventure and as always, looking forward to our next visit!🤗🤗🤗❤️
