Bon jour, Arvin! Oh, how I loved visiting Paris! For those who experience ear discomfort during descent from a long flight like that, travel stores in airports often sell these corkscrew-like ear plugs that totally eliminate that discomfort so you can readily enjoy the rest of your trip. I highly recommend them. Those stores also sell things that help with jet lag, so you don't miss a day of your vacay. Sad to hear you did not get the Hermes. Perhaps, since so much attention was given to your Fendi, the message was, "Carry a Hermes, or carry nothing at all. Bring only bare essentials in pockets." Who knows? Nothing like viewing Paris from the Eifel Tower at night with the fountains below lit up. Merci for sharing. Hope you had the time of your life! 🛩🗼
When I had surgeries after rupturing an ear drum 10 years ago I was really sensitive to elevation changes. My surgeon said original Afrin solves those problems, and it's true!! Two squirts in each nostril works in 5 minutes and lasts for 12 hours. Don't use it more than necessary though because apparently it's addicting! I just use it when I fly and my ears pop equalize themselves.

Masks don't stop the spread or keep you from getting it. Research the Danish scientific study recently published. But actually all you need is common sense.
