Rob = Blue ain't you color, Can't stop the feeling, Butts remix, Spaceship. You really have to do man of constant sorrow. It will send you over the top
In December, we drove 5 hours to see them live in concert. I was not sure if it would be as good as their videos and if it would lose some of the acoustical clarity as you get from a recording studio. I was so wrong and pleasantly surprised with just how great they were live as well. If they get anywhere close to you, don’t miss out!! ❤️
You are terrific! Great voice! This might sound a bit odd (and I can't recall if you've reacted to Home Free's Butts Remix, but Rob gets his growl on in that video). It's hysterical. It's unreal, but they sound just as terrific in concert. I went to their show in Orlando in Dec. It was unbelievable. They deliver! Thanks for reacting to this cover.
Janis Greer You’re terrific as well!!! Thank you so much for the support and I think I’m gonna actually buy tickets to see them... I think it’s a must!
Your reaction was fun to watch how much you got into this great song sung by our great guys Home Free! Harmonies to die for, Rob and Austin killed this one! Thanks.
It's a good show, you should go see them if they come near you. They are more than just a country group, I've seen hints of Jazz, gospel, Pop, and R&B in their music, they also have a "beatbox solo" in the middle of their concert. They are very versatile, and I love it!
Dude!?! I thought you were going to explode bro! Trying to keep from talking! LOL!!!!I I just love you! 🤣I hear you though cause when I'm at home watching their videos I can't be still and I'll be hollering! At night after my husband and kids are asleep I have to do the same as you! I need to duct tape my mouth closed!. For real though these guys are so talented! I love them! Thank you for reacting!
Joseph, this was a beautiful, heartfelt reaction, so fresh, so unique.... more please.. god this was so fun to watch. best reaction ever...period man!!
I was blessed to see them in concert in Chattanooga a couple of years ago. They are AWESOME! It is definately money well spent. Entertainment from the beginning to end. Love your videos.
They are amazing live - go see them! Such a happy feel-good crowd! Tim will make the place rumble from the floor to the chair to your spine - wow! Check out Finally Free and I Can’t Stop the Feeling
You really need to react to more of them little one and u would realize that you will have to see them live and there is some live stuff out there u can watch also. Love ya dear
#homefreefanforever I've watched sooo many reactions to this and it NEVER GET TIRED OF IT and how emotional it is!!! Y'all couldn't hardly sit still...I was waitin for y'all to come up out the chair...y'all can't even get words out your mouth!!!!! They got y'all SHOOK!!!😂😂😂 Great reaction! FYI Y'all have the most GAWGEOUS SMILE...just sayin!! 💕🔥
I haven’t even started the video yet but I heard you say that was your song. Beautiful. I will listen to it right after this video. Thanks for sharing it.
Rob definitely killed it. To hear his soulful side with the growls and rasps is ear candy. I completely agree with everything you've said in terms of emotion they give. that being said, have you seen Avi Kaplan's music video called Change on the Rise? We go from Home Free being very passionate and emotional to Avi singing a strong battle cry that will send shivers to anyone. definitely recommend it
That was my reaction, 2!..These Boyz can SANG!! UTube Reactors are going to their concerts from U.S. to Germany +put on UTube..They're amazing LIVE! . PLZ REACT to their awesome LIVE⤵ . *9;To 5- Beatboxing Breakdown* (Biiig Surprise ) *!!!* . *Seven Bridges Road-Alaska-2017* (The Harmonies) *!!!* . *Man Of Constant Sorrow-03-03-18* (1st time using bboxer's loopstation) 😊😊😊😊😊
Mr Davis.........i've only become aware of your existance 48 hours ago (or so) because of my being a fan of Home Free and ive already become a huge fan of yours sir because of your great reaction vids lol! Keep up the great work!!...and..have a good evening!
LoL!! Brother; I've seen them in concert 4 times this year already ... and I'm still waiting to hear them sing this song Live, LoL!! Yes ... they do bring it in all the songs they do perform up on that stage. If you get the chance, I'd say buy the tickets if they're gonna be near your area ... I've already got my Tickets for December 12th ... yes, that'll 5 times in a year ... but how could you end a year in a better way, right? They've said they'll be performing the fans favorite songs from their Holiday Hits, along with songs from previous albums. Ought to be Fantastic. [I'm personally hoping for a Live performance of *How Great Thou Art* ; from their "Full of Even More Cheer" album]
I think one of the (many) things that make Home Free a cut above is their ability to vocalize the emotional context of a song. Without that, even the most technically perfect song & singer fall flat. Tim (bass), Austin (reddish hair) & Chance (usually wearing a cap) are each song writers. There are lots of originals as well as covers & loads of live videos.
\I am praying that they do this live when I go se them in July... I LOVE this cover. HOME FREE has a new one out too called Great Day To Be Alive . PLEASE react to rthat one next, you will love it
That clip sounded smooth, sir! Plus I thoroughly enjoyed your reaction. The morning (as a patron) that I heard this for the first time, I was a little bit down. Then I heard Rob coming unleashed, and my day...no...my week...was made. I love all of these guys, and I honestly have no favorites among them. But on this one...oh yeah...Rob was the one who brightened my world. ;-) When it was released on RU-vid, I realized there was even something more about it that was hitting me at "baseline." I wasn't sure I could pick it up here in your reaction, but it's there. Not everyone can hear it, but I'm thinking you will, when you're listening for it. In your video, it pretty much starts at 2:50 ... right after Austin sings, "...oh, I'd rather be dead..." The note has been touched on, in the regular harmonies, before that, but for the first part of the song, it doesn't build and become a constant...it just kind of hovers there, making it's presence felt, but not overtly noticed. Starting at 2:50, it begins to build and be a consistent harmonic presence...much like a synth effect. I know without a shadow of doubt that they NEVER use anything like that, so it HAS to be something someone in the group is voicing, maybe in a held note, BUT...I actually think it's a harmonic overtone that MAYBE Chance is producing while doing his harmonies basically in the background! I've studied all of them, and I think it's either Chance or Adam (or maybe both, plus, possibly, at one point, Tim...maybe). It also could be either one (a held note or a harmonic overtone), that is played into a looper and then held, to create almost an eerie fullness to the middle, and then even more persistently on and off until close to the end, making Rob's and Austin's emoting even more powerful. I'd be interested to know if you can hear it/them, and if so...what do you think? At about 3:16 (here in this video), it quiets, when they go down into the lower emotion of a "verse." At 3:55 the presence is there again...fairly softly. By 4:15 it has become somewhat pervasive. At 4:20, a higher harmonic joins the first one. It's very interesting and beautiful! At 4:52-ish, a lower harmonic joins, throughout Tim's "lonely" entry, lending itself perfectly to that emotion. At 5:00, all harmonics suddenly drop out, until... At 5:12, all three notes tune in once again, until the breakdown, and that's it. So...what say you? - - - - - - - - - - As for your question... I'd love anything anyone already noted, so I searched my brain for something a little different, based on the fact that my all-time favorite food ANYWHERE would be either lobster or true Alaskan King Crab (I grew up in Valdez, Alaska). Then I remembered a dish I used to make every summer, when we lived in Porterville, California, out in the country, with a slough running behind us. We could easily stock up on a whole family-size-meal (for the eight of us) of crawdads/crawfish/crayfish (or whatever anyone wants to call them in their own neck of the woods). I've also made the recipe (not the one I'm linking, but a similar one) using either jumbo shrimp, or lobster, or king crab. You can find it here: Crawfish Etouffee (by Emeril Lagasse) www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/emeril-lagasse/crawfish-etouffee-1-3645763 Emeril calls for it to be served over rice. I would prefer toast, with a side of fried okra, or just eat it from a bowl, and feel like you've died and gone to Heaven. ;-)
Rob is opening up more, now that he has started gaining more confidence in his voice. I have always known he had it in him, when he sang colder weather, but was not prepared for the moment he finally let it loose.
Boyz II Men is incomparable, but these guys killed this song. It's the only version I've heard of it that comes close to the original. Thanks for the reaction. 👍
Love your opening music Texas A&M football uses it too! But love your reaction to Home Free ! They’re so good Love this but also Man of Constant Sorrows
I was hoping you would do this one. An oldie where Rob pulled out some jazzy R&B was Joy To The World, Hosanna Concert 2013. It was a very 'out of the box' arrangement. BTW, I love some smoked ribs or some chicken and dumplings.
Massive like! Love the way you appreciated how big Rob "brought it to church!" If you listen to Nessun Dorma you will see a mind blowing different side of him. Regards from California!
I loved this reaction. If you want to see Rob in his best form run, don't walk and listen to Dreamer, the video. It dropped yesterday and it is sooooo good.
@TheJosephDavis..... The next time they are in your area I will buy the tickets. I am from your area originally now living in Arkansas. I would love to see them at someplace like The Fox or even The Muny in springtime.
Try listening to Joe Bonamassa’s guitar playing & Beth Hart’s singing, “I’ll Take care of You” I know that you will appreciate their blues collaboration.
Yeah, it's good and then some --- Rob just kills it........between Rob and Austin --- evoke so much feeling with this one. Amazing!!! LIVE? --- You'll loose yourself in awe.......then wonder what happened, it's over already? Huh? Yeah, just them -- still can't believe it!!! Gotta go again... yep, I'm goin' again!
Listen to " Children Go Where I Send Thee" with Kenny Rogers.... Amazing talent with these guys~ GO TO A CONCERT! You will never forget it.. it is a truly moving experience! Enjoy ..just love your reactions!
He is an amazing talent. One of the best singers in music. I hope you consider reacting. He will blow you away. I was Wrong, Death Row, Sometimes I Cry, Millionaire, and of course Tennessee Whiskey, just to mention a few.
Ok - this one is a few years old BUT you will get a glimpse of Rob’s amazing vocals. Looking forward to your reaction & seeing you at a Home Free show soon!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uCWbYNeQVng.html
