Keith Urban reached out to HF and asked them to cover his song. HF has released the BTS for this one. It's fun to watch the process, their efforts to learn the choreo, etc.
I can't find in a cursory search of your reactions that you have heard Home Free's 'Helplessly Hoping' cover. It's arguably their finest performance from a technical standpoint, actually gob-smacking. Please consider having a listen when you feel you can manage it. Thanks!
When you started down the HF rabbit hole, we told you to start anywhere (except "Mayday") and that there would be no bad choices. We're still on track!! 🙂 Corker_X
Nice reaction but… ALWAYS listen way to the end! I love Rob’s comment about all the time it took to learn the choreography! I always hoped😂 they would do this in a live show!! Another great video you need to see is “I Like the Sound of That”! The video is filmed in a school setting… Each member portrays one of the teachers. IIt’ the story of an awkward teacher trying to get a date with the librarian!! This was a Rascal Flatts song cowritten by Meghan Trainor!
They did do this one in a few of the live shows, because I’ve seen some video clips of it. But I think they’re not a fan of all that choreography, so they only did it a few times. I never got to see it live.
@@annehffry3284 That would be so much fun to see!! Home Free has come along way since the days on the singer for they were just learning dance steps! Lol
Home Free always seems to "upgrade" the songs they cover. Was never a fan of this one until HF did it; now, as far as I'm concerned, they own it!! ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ #HomeFree
Red - Knowing how you enjoy male groups and '70s musical styles, I'm confident you will enjoy this live concert version of The Manhattans' 1976 original hit "Kiss and Say Goodbye" - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OCsvEtlu2ws.html
Well worth the wait Red, I really love this one too! The mix on this song is so good and the producer bringing Tim to the front with his bass brings a little 50’s flair to the song! Great reaction! Low bass Kenneth
Hi Redheaded Neighbor Rob did good job on this song. Chance did a good job to. The harmonies of Home Free is good. I can hear Tim's bass and Adam's beatboxing is great. I love Home Free and again they are my favorite group. 😊❤❤❤❤❤❤
I was so surprised the first time I saw this to see them being the Temptations. Dancing is definitely not their favorite thing to do. They behind the scenes video for this is pretty funny. Rumor has it that they had to stop doing this in their live shows because they had to expend so much energy to remember the dance steps that they thought the vocals suffered. There is at least one fan video that shows the full dance.
Love this from them they do Pretty Woman❤❤❤❤ #reaction #homefree #homefry #homefreereaction #redheadedneighbor #bestreactor #redsarmy #beautifulcountrygirl
Yeah, we wanna (eventually) hear you react to all the HF videos! When I listen to them on RU-vid for my shower, I just put it on Shuffle because they're all good!
Great reaction. Never was a big fan of the song, but then HF did it and I really like it. I DO hope that you did eventually go back and watch the ending.
Love this one! It’s the only one where they learned choreography (which is not beloved by all Home Free guys. Watch the rest of the video for entertaining info regarding this video). It’s like in Doo Wop style whereas Keith’s is more Bluesy style. I love Keith Urban’s style of music. I was so happy when they released this cover! I was over the moon with delight! I think there is a Behind the scenes video on Home Free’s channel under “From the Vault”. Don’t hold me to it, though.
Yes! Have fun with it. There are a lot of branches in the Home Free rabbit hole. Behind the scenes too. "From The Vault" series has The bts from shooting their videos, then there's a "Home Away From Home" that shows their life on tour, setting up for a show, interviews, what they eat, where they go etc. series. They are so much fun to watch. All of it is so much fun, sometimes they are like 12-year-old boys with their antics, but you gotta have fun when you live on the road right?
Have you had a chance to listen to "Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On" yet? FYI: It was filmed in the same place and same weekend as the "Butts Medley." Just sayin' :)
Several people have recommended the BTS of this video. That would be Home Free From the Vault Episode 10. If you like their dance moves give thanks to their long time choreographer Kristin Denehy. And the one for I Like the Sound of That is Episode 13. Both of them are hilariously funny and I love watching them over and over.
