You see serious songs then one like this one, then one with a great lesson in it, you get the same thing when you see them live! Yes they are as good live as they are recorded! You may cry one minute and then laugh so hard you cry the next! Enjoyed watching your mix of emotions in this one! Valentines coming quickly, check out I Swear! Low bass Kenneth
It's not like the title "Butts Remix" was false advertising. This is about as goofy as they get (although "Brothers" might be close, and I'd love to see your reaction to the end of "Life Is A Highway". These people will do whatever it takes). "Country Fried Pop Medley" is a really good follow-up, though...tons of humor but the arrangement is insanely good.
Thanks for your reaction! If you look in the credits you will notice that Layne Stein, beat boxer from Voice Play, helped with the arrangement of this one( yes, Home Free and Voice Play are good friends, very supportive of each other (despite their different styles and approaches to acapella music) and share a similar sense of humor). Voice Play and Home Free competed against each other on season 4 of the 'Sing Off' in 2013 and became good friends when they toured together on the "Sing Off' tour after the show ended. Geoff Castellucci, bass singer for Voice Play, helped Home Free with their arrangement of "Elvira" with the Oak Ridge Boys. I think you would really enjoy Voice Play and Home Free together in "Survivor: Zombies Vs Hillbillies" that they did live together on the 'Sing Off' tour.
"Bro Country ACA Top 10" Chris Rupp did with Voiceplay. Both live versions of Elvira by VP and HF are hilarious audience participation pieces in opposite ways, VP up with riffs and HF down with shaking speakers.
I wondered if you were losing it when you disappeared!! When the went "ham sandwich", Tim was eating the sandwich in the background!! These guys are so genuine and love to have fun!❤
Other great songs/videos on the "silly" side from Home Free: -- "All About That Bass" -- "Champagne Taste (On A Beer Budget)", which Tim wrote somewhat against his will -- "Workin' For A Livin'", a Huey Lewis cover...not a silly song, but the video was an "Anchorman" tribute where they were super silly. (Great nomonica solo from Adam in that one, too.)
The first 10 times that you watch this, you can't stop laughing.... THEN you notice the skills that they all have. Not just the vocals, but the arrangement and how they weave all the songs INTO each other, using 1 for the background for another while teasing a third.... and so on. Oh, and all the while, not objectifying the women in the video... No women's butts were highlighted in this whole video. The women were there to watch the spectacle that is Home Free.
You did great by the way !! They have more fun ones. This is just what was needed with the weather this Gloomy cold Monday ❄❄❄☃☃⛄⛄🥕🥕🥕 You smile could melt the ice caps ❤❤❤❤❤❤ #reaction #homefree #homefry #homefreereaction # redheadedneighbor If you go back to the ham sandwhich part Tim in the back left is eating a ham sandwhich can be hard to catch 1st time watching 🤣🤣🤣🤣
these guys are not just singers, but much more they are ENTERTAINERS. Other acapella groups don't have the courage to be funny, their always soooo serious. But these guys can have fun, but the music quality never wavers, it's always 1st CLASS
Great reaction! This is such a fun mashup of songs. Very cleverly done from one song to another. The talent these guys have is phenomenal. They have so much fun but the vocals never suffer. And Adam's beatboxing is on another level. Home Free was very respectful in this video about not exploiting or offending any women.
Thanks. Been waiting for this one. Been cleaning house today, and with this nasty weather was in a royal snit!! Needed a good laugh! Just watching your reaction made me laugh.
I am not sure everyone sees Tim doing the "head banger" move when they start the Fat Bottom Girls section. Take a quick look to the right to see him.....they are all hilarious and soooooooo talented!!!! Always very respectful to everyone. Home Free always elicits an emotion.
Loved your reaction! You looked guilty for liking it! I'm sure you noticed that only their own butts were used in the video! You kept laughing and looking away just at the wrong time. I think you may have missed some good bits! Now you should react to their video of All About That Bass. If you haven't seen Meghan Trainor's video you should watch it first (or to a two-fer reaction) as the guys do a scene for scene cover. It is hilarious! Meghan liked it too!
Another great reaction to another great mashup by our boys. You look like you were blushing all through this one. That's one way to stay warm on a cold day. Same up here. Cold, negative and single digit temperatures. Got the coffee going. Will be drinking a lot of coffee today. This would be a great day to do some painting but just not that motivated to paint today. Your reactions bring warmth and a ray of light into these cold and gloomy days. Looking forward to your next one.
Hahaha…..yeah the boys are nuts and we love them. They never really showed women’s butts and it was respectful but they’re goofy for sure. What a mix. So good while cracking me up. Good one Red! 😍🥰
Thanks for your great reactions! Just subbed tonight, watched you do several of Home Free's. They are my guys and about all I ever watch! Been to 7 live shows of theirs. This song was always a crowd favorite! They start it out saying how much they respect women's curves! And if you notice, they never show any of the women's "butts" (sorry!) in the video. They just don't go there. Be sure to watch Country Fried Pop if you haven't yet. It is an incredible mashup Austin arranged of 17 pop songs by 15 artists. Incredible and fun too! Take care.
I hope you noticed that none of the butts on display were female. Most of the girls in the video were colleagues/friends of friends, apart from the beautiful dark woman sitting between Austin and Tim, who was Olena, Austin's ex and an amazingly talented stylist.
Did you by chance see Tim eating the ham sandwich and then headbanging in the next song? The guy in the overalls is Buegs a friend of Tim's (wellthe guys now). Those are actually the same ones that Tim wore in Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget. I loved how much fun you were having watching and reacting to this song.
FYI the wiggle wiggle in the first song (Trace Adkins' Honky Tonk Badonkadonk) was actually part of the second song, Wiggle by Jason DeRulo. The other songs were Fat Bottom Girls by Queen, Baby Got Back by SirMixalot, The Thong Song by Sisqo, and Country Girl by Luke Bryan.
2 beverages? I usually have 3. Coffee, whiskey, and water. There goes Red's ovaries throwing eggs like confetti. Girl, ee get it.😂 Honestly though, great reaction. Your faces during different songs absolutely made my night!
Hi Red, Hi. You just can not deny: guys are wired for anna tommy of the bubbly kind. If, you, shak'em, we sure will not go blind. Like moths, at the lamp, we fly towards concushion - we're certain you don't mind.
In an interview Chris Rupp said this was his pet project. HIs sister had worked with a modeling agency and that's where most of the women were from. Since they didn't want to objectify the women, the only 'butts' are theirs. Austin choreographed the line dance. The man in the one shoulder overalls is 'Beugs' a friend of Rob's (who co-hosts on Rob's channel and appears in other videos).
Please please react to Ummet Ozcan with Otyken on the song Altay!!!. You will love to see the contrasting harmony between the two cultures that share ancient languages.
hahahahahaha, yeah, it's cringe, in the best way possible. these dudes are great, and they have a sense of humor. What's not to like about that? I hope that warmed ya up some.
If you pay close attention while they're singing Fat Bottom Girls, you can see Tim and Adam trying not to laugh while watching Austin rolling on the floor. This video is hilarious.
I would love to see you react to their cover of, "This Is How We Roll". They are dressed as characters of the movie, The Big Lebowski. Its not required to watch the movie first, but it helps with some of the inside jokes.
And you're welcome... 🤣I figured you would enjoy that. It took me about 4 times watching it to realize all the instrumentation was once again Adam Rupp. The guy is truly talented... And I won't even get started on the rest of the guys just having a good time playin' around. The whole song just made my cheeks hurt from smiling. Thanks for doing this. As always, BIG HUGS and much❤from Tennessee!
I've seen one or two interviews where they said that although they managed to hire some models (possibly from some event happening near where they shot this? I don't remember), they wanted to stay classy and respectful, so "the only butts in the video are ours". Their story checks out.
As always you are so cute and fun! Thank you for sharing this journey with us. Butts have never been so classy. If you feel like more giggles, April 1 2021 HF released 3 new amazing songs. One was Bohemian Rhapsody. All the reactors lined up to be the first to review it. Look it up to see what our boys did to their fans. Only the short 1 min version is still out there but the original was 6 minutes! Other fun giggles are All About That Base (watch the original first since this is a tasteful parody), Country Fried Pop is giggle worthy, Quarantine got us through the worst of the lock downs and of course Brother is Adam Rupp's Larping masterpiece. Oh, and for 13 minutes of constant giggles, try HF's guilty pleasures hilariously derailed. The version with Austin in a lightning shirt in Texas is the best one. You are the best! Stay warm and stay smiling.
First song in the mix is Trace Adkins' Honky Tonk Badonkadonk. For more fun it's Hillbilly Bone by Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins which Home Free also did a cover of. For a serious Trace Adkins song, check out Arlington. If it doesn't make you feel patriotic and want to cry there's something unAmerican about you.
This was Home Free's April Fools' video from 2015❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ Rob's musical whistling is just remarkable! 😙 And watching Tim do the beatboxing as he harasses Rob when Adam does the dj scratching is hilarious 😆 Eric "Buegs" Buegler is one of Rob's good friends. His short overalls is a reference to Maddie & Tae's video called "Girl in a Country Song". Check it out--makes Buegs' antics here even funnier 🤣 #HomeFree
LMAO... DID you blush? Hey.. I loved the reaction as it really made me smile! I have a couple more Home Free songs that show their talent. Home Free-"Listen To The Music" and "Country Roads Take Me Home" ( John Denver cover). peace
@redheadedneighbor Respect... butt... (see what I did there... 😋!?) eyecandy is eyecandy! Lol Checking out the opposite sex is normal! It's ones following actions that makes it inappropriate at times... or Not!
Re 2 beverages, my idea of 2 beverages is cream liqueur in my coffee. A nice follow-up to this video is a commentary video by Chris Rupp where he shares fun behind-the-scenes memories.
Yeah... You got set up on this one. This is not my favorite Home Free piece. But you have to admit they had a hell of a lot of fun. I would say if you haven't already, check out their cover of All About The Bass. It's another from the Chris Rupp days numbers, and it is so much fun.
I really appreciate what a class act these guys are! They didn’t want to overly objectify women so you’ll notice that the only butts shown were male. Love seeing the lighter side of HF! 😂
