In one of their interviews, they said that they didn't want to exploit the women in their video, so they just used their own butts instead. I, for one, would rather look at their butts than the women's. lol That "note" was being made by Austin by humming and flicking his finger over his teeth.
I'm couldn't be more excited to go on this Home Free journey with you because I can see you are a real music lover. Hope you love Christmas songs cuz they have some real doozies. Thanks for the Butts reaction. Please give a listen to their mashup of Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud and Marvin Gaye's Let's Get It On. Outstanding.Cheers!
Another good mashup is their "Country-Fried Pop Medley" and it also shows their sense of humor. And for some good old-fashioned doo-wop, check out their covers of Keith Urban's "Blue Ain't Your Color" and Patsy Cline's "Crazy." You can't go wrong with them
That is Chris Rupp, Adam Rupp (beatboxer) his brother. He and Adam made the group Home Free back in college and Chris left the group to go solo in 2016, so videos with him in it are older and the ones after 2016 you will see Chance in the group, he took Chris's place in the baritone spot in the group, but Chance is also a bass because he was the bass guy in his old group before Home free called Street Corner Symphony, and he does bass in Home Free also and can switch off with Tim if Tim is singing, etc.
This is a Medley (as you figured out) of HonkyTonk BaDonkadonk - Trace Adkins, Wiggle - Jason Derulo, Fat Bottom Girls - Queen, Baby Got Back - Sir Mix-A-Lot, Thong Song - Sisqo, Country girl shake it for me - Luke Bryan
I remember that first time they liked/commented back!! Fries are dedicated to them because they are dedicated to us! The Home Fries are the best family I have ever joined! Welcome! I'm glad you are enjoying the ride!
Great reaction! Home Free has done a bunch of collaborations with other Artists. Check out Elvira with The Oakridge Boys and Home Free. There cover of Country Roads by John Denver is Awesome.
Home Free's cover of Take Me Home, Country Roads was the first time I heard this group and the only song of theirs I needed to hear to make me a fan lol you should check that one out too since you're in a HF rabbit hole atm lol
Yes, it is wonderful. The word is they worked for years to find the perfect arrangement. It truly is good, not the direction I thought it would go, but then I they know better !!
The gentleman in the cowboy hat is Chris Rupp. He is Adam's brother and co-founder of the group. He left the group a few years ago to work on his own projects and was replaced by Adam Chance.
I was just thinking that I thought you would get a kick out of this and here you are. One thing I love about these guys is that their sense of fun is as great as their talent. They never take themselves too seriously.
I absolutely adore Home Free!!! Not only for their amazing talent, but also, that they seem so down to earth, and funny as hell, they feel as though, they would be great to hang out with!!!
PLEASE PLEASE react to Home Free singing "Blue Ain't Your Color". This song will introduce you to Chance. I haven't steered you wrong yet Sir. I also introduced you to Voctave back in the day.
Find a newer one. If you just do a search the first one that's likely to pop up is from 2015. It's decent, but it's old and doesn't really showcase his current level of skill. Reactors tend to pick it because it has high view numbers, but it has high view numbers because it's old, but because it gets reacted to, its view numbers go up and the cycle repeats. Newer versions have him doing Billie Jean (complete with dance moves), which he wasn't doing in 2015.
Yes! There is one on my channel that is about 11mins long (I think it is from 2018 or 2019) and is perfect to react to. The older ones don't show everything he can do and the newest ones don't have his full drum set.
Great reaction! So happy you are reacting to Home Free. They are so dang talented! You are definitely a Home Fry!! These guys have such a great sense of humor. They can have fun, while still delivering on the vocals! And their beatboxer/ vocal percussionist Adam Rupp aka the freak of nature, is absolutely the best in my opinion. Thank you for your reaction!
You probably already know but Rob is the one doing the rapping, Adam is beat boxing and Austin is singing the high note (in the rap song) LOVE THIS ARRANGEMENT!! Great reaction! I love Home Free😊
It is Chris Rupp, older bro of Adam, they both have been co- founders of Home Free in 2000s then he left in 2016 and Chance joined . Chris moved on his solo Hills songs as, they grew up singing for the local church. Check out his own channel. There are some songs ft Tìm and home free members
They showed their own butts as to not objectify women. The high note in The Thong Song bit was made by Austin aka Jesus. He puts his finger up to his mouth to make the trilling sound.
Hahaha, this is so good. They do sometimes write back! Home Free is goofy and good, that’s what I love about them. They only really showed their own butts too and didn’t make fun of women’s butts. Loved your reaction. Try Country Fried Pop Medley now.
The other person was Chris Rupp who is a brother of beatboxer Adam Rupp and was a founding member. He left HF several years back to pursue other vocal opportunities. Adam Chance came in to "replace" him.
Thank you, I enjoyed your reaction and subscribed! The hat guy is HF founder, tenor and Adam’s brother Chris. They are my favorite singers in Home Free. Home’ Free’s cover of All About That Bass is even better, in my opinion! 🤣. Their original song, Full of Cheer is my favorite funny song In the world! It is hysterical! 😂
Love your reactions! Try Home Free's "My Church", "Can't Stop the Feeling", and (unbelievably enough) "Do You Hear What I Hear". There's a wealth of beautiful sound waiting for your deep dive, and I hope you share it all with us. Thank you.
How Great Tho Art is a master piece of their's ...you'll absolutely love their harmonies. even the beat boxer sings in it instead of beat boxing. rush to it my man...from one singer to another ...you're missing out, i promise
Love this video... they do this at almost all the concert videos I've seen. Obviously, a fan favorit...for sure this fan! You really should check out Country Fried Pop Medley for more fun.
Chris Rupp, the brother of Adam Rupp(beat boxer) who left the group, stated in a video that the group would not make a model do what they wouldn’t. Therefore they focused on themselves doing the kind of thing that the models would do(the dancing, the focus as they walk up the stairs etc.). They do not take themselves seriously.
I love this. They don't ever disrespect women. Instead of using women's butts they use their own. They can all beatbox. They have commented to reactors on the reactors page. They have also done interviews with reactors (I've seen Tim and Austin) I'm hoping to see the other 3 interviewed also.
This is the "original" Home Free as they appeared in the Sing-Off. The dude in the cowboy hat is co-founder of Home Free, Chris Rupp, brother of the group's beat boxer, Adam Rupp. Chris left to work with others and a solo career. He was replaced by Adam Chance (baritone) and simply referred to as "Chance" so he and Adam Rupp don't get confused in conversations. The Rupps and "big boy" Rob Lundquist are from Minnesota. Later being joined by Austin Brown (high tenor) from Georgia, Tim Foust (bass) from Texas and Adam Chance from Alabama.
Who is that? You have met Rob. He is just........ weird............ The overalls dude is their friend. It really was, mid day, this is already weird. Dude can you show up in overalls and nothing ELSE.
It is so much fun seeing someone react to one of Home Free's songs. These guys are loaded with talent and tons of fun. All of the requests below are terrific. The songs are all good and you won't be disappointed. Thank you for a great reaction.
I'm so glad you fell in love with this group as I did. Your reactions are great as always! I'm so glad you finally saw this one, it's one of the best! Thank you and Keep up the great work!
So glad you saw this... the guy you didnt recognize (in the cowboy hat) is Chris Rupp, Adam's (the beatboxer's) brother. He was a longstanding member and co founder of Home Free, He left the group o pursue his own music and they added Chance to the group... Chris is in quite a few of the videos.. Great voice... and Chance is just amazing too! Thanks for all you do!
LOL it's pretty funny but starting to get dated. Chris is in this one, so it's pre his leaving in May 2016. But you get to see their funny side too. These guys can do it all, So you can see they can be serious, but they also have a funny side too. I agree with JDrix comment... *COUNTRY ROADS* will blow you away.
Only Home Free could get away with a medley like this. And its amazing. And if youve never heard the original “HonkyTonk Badonkadonk” please do. Its a classic
Please look at Austin Brown's (aka Jesus) youtube channel. He has covered At Last, Unchained Melody, and Ain't No Sunshine...Also check out his original song, Off the Grid. He's got so much soul!!!
Chris Rupp... Adam Home Frees beat boxer's brother and the member who started the band.he was in the group for a long time, but left to pursue a solo career and was replaced by Adam Chance ( known as just Chance).🙂 I believe Adam Rupp,Chris's brother helped start the group with Chris...Tim and Austin worked singing on cruise ships for awhile before joining Home Free. Chance is a baritone who also sings bass and can take Tim's place when Tim is singing other parts.🙂keep up the good work!!👍🙂✌
Big fan of your reactions. Real and original 💯 Could you react to a different genre. Polyvibe/poly music - fejoint switch E - come closer and love on me please
They are not the ones to disrespect women......instead they parade their own butts .Home Free can be goofy as hell. They are the most hilarious A capella band. Down the rabbit hole you go .There won't be any regrets, I can assure you. They kept us entertained all through quarantine. Check out Down to the honky-tonk, Diamond Dreams, Meet in the Middle Moonshine, Folsom Prison and the Gambler. You want to see all the guys beat box, check Dolly Parton 9_5. It wild 😜 mad. Love your reaction
